In tonight’s showdown between WWE’s Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair, the exchanges have been unpredictable up until now, but this encounter took chaos to a whole new level. The spontaneity of their dialogue, as suggested by WrestleVotes, played a significant role in escalating the situation. It seems that many parts of their promo were not originally scripted, and during these improvised moments, Tiffany Stratton reportedly brought up Charlotte Flair’s divorce, while Flair allegedly mentioned Stratton’s boyfriend in her DMs. You can catch all the action in the video below.
The initial skirmish in the promotional event became chaotic due to the crowd’s overwhelming support for Stratton during the entire stretch. Stratton cleverly capitalized on this, engaging them more actively, but things escalated further when the crowd began fiercely turning against Flair.
As Flair spoke, the crowd’s boos grew louder and louder, with Stratton adding fuel to the fire by highlighting this and continuing to taunt. At a certain point, the boos drowned out Flair’s voice, reaching levels similar to those directed at Logan Paul or Dominik Mysterio. This was when Stratton upped the ante with some extra insults aimed at Flair, even going so far as to label her as a ‘nepotism baby’. However, it was then that things really took a turn for the worse.
Stratton made a connection between Ric Flair’s WrestleMania record and his personal life by saying, “By the time we wrap things up, you’ll be just as unsuccessful in your career as you are outside of it, right? I seem to remember something like 0-3, isn’t that how many times you’ve been married?” This comment is a veiled reference to Flair’s three divorces.
Stratton hastily tossed the microphone onto the mat and swiftly exited the ring. Flair pursued for a moment but then retaliated with a personal remark, “Is that why Kaiser’s in your DMs?” Both instances were highly personal, and given the unusual tone and heated nature of their conversation, it seemed more improvised than rehearsed.
If it hadn’t been so, they managed to deceive numerous people, as evidenced by the many comments expressing surprise at how intense it became and the impact of the crowd during the interaction. It remains uncertain what will unfold subsequently, but this episode seems to have added more fuel to a longstanding feud that needed escalation.
Flair appeared to struggle with the louder boos from the audience, and it was shrewd of Stratton to amplify the booing and benefit from it. Given her popularity among the crowd, Stratton will undoubtedly be a favorite at WrestleMania 41 too. As for the Title at WrestleMania, time will tell if it’s Stratton who takes home the championship belt when the dust settles.
