For quite some time now, WWE viewers haven’t witnessed the Wyatt Sicks on television. The team has been out of sight since before WrestleMania 41. There have been whispers about their comeback, but nothing concrete had occurred. However, that changed during tonight’s SmackDown. In the heart of an exhilarating Tag Team Championship battle, the Wyatt Sicks made a spectacular return, as Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, and Erick Rowan stepped into the ring. The impact of this event is amplified when you take into account that today marks Bray Wyatt’s birthday, and the group honored him in the ring as the show concluded.
In tonight’s main event of SmackDown, Street Profits defended their WWE Tag Team Championships against newcomers Fraxiom. Fraxiom had secured a Title match last week with an incredibly impressive performance. The contest was fantastic, but it ended prematurely when DIY attempted to interfere. This prompted the appearance of Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and Candice LeRae, who all stormed the ring.
Afterwards, the situation became quite disorganized as the lights flickered off and on again, exposing the Wyatt Sicks in the ring. Upon the lights returning and showing them in the ring, Montez Ford silently prayed, but Lumis responded by superplexing him from the top rope. Rowan followed this up by slamming two more individuals with a colossal clothesline, which was when Cross stepped into the batter’s box.

In this intense encounter, Cross pounced on LeRae, tackling her to the ground. Meanwhile, Gacy knocked out Dawkins, only for Dawkins to retaliate when Gacy picked up Lumis and brutally slammed him down. Howdy swooped in next, charging straight at Frazer and delivering a fierce mandible claw attack in the corner. However, the most brutal move was saved for Gargano, who the others dragged into the ring and handed over to Howdy before he delivered a devastating Sister Abigail blow.
The lights lowered, and the gathering enthusiastically welcomed their comeback, followed by a birthday cake visible on the stage with a single candle. Kneeling, Howdy extinguished the flame, marking the end of the performance, which was an extraordinary homage to Wyatt and his lasting impact that resonates till now. Don’t miss out on their complete return in the video above.
Based on this match’s outcome, it appears that the Wyatt Sicks could find themselves squarely in the Tag Team Championship mix, as DIY, Street Profits, and Fraxiom have all been impacted and sidelined. It seems likely that DIY will be their initial adversaries, given that Gargano took the brunt of the damage during this clash, and LeRae wasn’t far behind. Only time will tell who they’ll face first.
