As a die-hard fan who has been on this Wynonna Earp journey since its inception, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming movie, “Wynonna Earp: Vengeance.” It’s like revisiting an old friend after a long hiatus, only to find they’ve grown even more badass! The series has always been a unique blend of action, humor, and heart, but the prospect of facing a personal enemy promises a fresh twist that I can hardly wait to see unfold.
A week prior to its premiere on Tubi, promotional images have surfaced from the upcoming reunion film titled Wynonna Earp: Vengeance. This film is based on the cherished Syfy series that initially aired from 2016 to 2021. The series centered around Melanie Scrofano (Ready or Not) as the protagonist, a descendant of Wyatt Earp. In the small town of Purgatory, she fought demons using a mystical gun once wielded by her ancestor. Now, just a few years after the series ended, the cast of Wynonna Earp has reunited for a new movie.
In the film, Wynonna and those around her will confront a nemesis holding a long-standing grudge against Wynonna specifically – unlike previous villains who primarily targeted her due to her being an Earp heir. For Wynonna, this villain is the most terrifying yet, as pointed out by Scrofano. This character resonates deeply with Wynonna’s current state of life, and it’s likely that she has never felt more afraid.

Wynonna Earp, a fiery, rowdy character who’s part demon-slayer and great-great-granddaughter of the renowned lawman Wyatt Earp, is compelled to return to her small town of Purgatory. This time, it’s to confront her most formidable adversary yet: a vengeful antagonist intent on retribution against Wynonna and everyone dear to her.
The series Vengeance boasts its original stars, including Melanie Scrofano as Wynonna Earp, Tim Rozon portraying Doc Holliday, Dominique Provost-Chalkley in the role of Waverly Earp, and Katherine Barrell as Nicole Haught.
The series titled “Wynonna Earp: Vengeance” is a production of SEVEN24 Films, in partnership with Cineflix Studios. The show was developed, penned, and overseen by Emily Andras, with Paolo Barzman directing it. Jordy Randall and Tom Cox from SEVEN24, Peter Emerson and Brett Burlock of Cineflix, Todd Berger, Rick Jacobs, and executive producer Beau Smith also contribute to the show’s creation. The storyline for “Wynonna Earp” is inspired by a graphic novel published by IDW Publishing, written and created by Beau Smith.
