1. Form an opinion: “I am former X—X-beau DeMayo DeMayo DeMayo is continuing to respond to Beaund-beaund-beau-demay-beau-beau-beau-beau-beau

Previously, Beau DeMayo, the showrunner of X-Men ’97 from 1997, has persisted in his individual crusade against Marvel Studios and Disney following his dismissal from their popular animated series on Disney+ earlier this year. In a video shared on his OnlyFans account, DeMayo openly contradicted recent statements from Disney regarding his termination and accused Marvel Studios of fostering a “toxic atmosphere” with “work conditions bordering on criminality” that “incites animosity among individuals” and “fuels paranoia to ensure obedience.”

“Rumors about me, spread on the internet are false rumors I’m hearing about online are falsehoods and they’s misconduct is more alarming because it appears to harm my reputation is being underminingly campaign to damage my credibility. This smear campaign originated from crew members of X-Men ’97, extending all the way through Marvel Studios’ top level at Marvel Studios.”

In summary, DeMayo stated that the revelations Marvel and others made were intended to divert attention from what truly upset them. He explained that he dared to speak truth to powerful figures like themselves, refusing to be their token approval for this project. They attempted to erase parts of his personality that conflicted or were inconvenient for their skewed narratives, but he stood firm. Moreover, they tried to intimidate him with both overt and veiled threats, yet he remained unaffected. Since then, everything they’ve done has been aimed not only at silencing and discrediting him, but also at crushing him as a reminder of his supposed place

In his recent video, DeMayo admits that he wasn’t everyone’s preferred workmate during X-Men ’97 Season 2, and there were creative disagreements. However, he and his legal team have criticized Disney/Marvel for the way they portrayed his dismissal, claiming it was done to deliberately cast him in a negative light. Previously, DeMayo had alleged that he was let go from X-Men ’97 Season 2 after posting fan art of himself as a shirtless Cyclops during Gay Pride Month in June, but the specifics have remained unclear

In March 2024, I was terminated from Marvel, as stated by a representative, following an internal investigation. Due to the severe conclusions reached during this investigation, our association was promptly ended, and I am no longer linked to Marvel in any capacity

Here’s a more conversational and easily understood: “I will provide the receiations and eyewitnesses as long as you cease to stop coercing them to lie, if you continue to force them to fabricate falsehood, you may proceed with lies and misinformation, but we can evolve into a studio that is worthy of a show like X Men ’97-like X- Men ’97, i.e., in the video, during his video session

DeMayo’s attorneys are also putting out a new statement, throwing suspicion on Disney/Marvel’s part for the use of allegedly questionable Non-Disclosure Agreements. As attorney Bryan Freedman stated:

“There are only two possible explanations for why Marvel and Disney had Beau sign an NDA that so obviously violated basic California law. Either incredulously Marvel and Disney’s hundreds of lawyers who advise over 250,000 employees all just happened to make a mistake or Marvel knowingly and intentionally attempted to silence Beau so they could have total control as to why he was no longer at Marvel, why he had his credits removed on season 2 and why he was uninvited to attend the very award show that nominated his hard work for an Emmy,” Freedman said. “Violating Beau’s statutory California rights will cost Marvel this case but more importantly, Marvel can no longer stop the truth from coming out.”

So far, the allegations from both sides are being kept vague. We’ll see if that continues.
