As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt and countless hours spent navigating virtual worlds, I can confidently say that August is shaping up to be an exciting month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers like myself! With the addition of three new games over the next two weeks, there’s something for everyone.
August’s first half has flown by at an amazing pace, implying that Xbox Game Pass members have three more exciting games on the horizon! Following the announcement of a group of titles scheduled to depart at month’s end, Xbox has now unveiled three new games coming our way through early September. In total, it’s a rather quiet month, but there are some intriguing additions to look forward to. Over the next fortnight, Xbox Game Pass members can anticipate these following games:
- August 22nd- Atlas Fallen (Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud)
- August 27th- Core Keeper (Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud)
- September 3rd- Star Trucker (Console, PC, Cloud)
Among the benefits of Xbox Game Pass is that it grants players immediate access to various games, even on the same day they’re released on the Microsoft Store. Out of the recent lineup of games, approximately two-thirds are launched simultaneously: the space-themed truck simulator game Star Trucker, and the sandbox mining adventure game Core Keeper. Notably, Star Trucker offers a fresh perspective on the truck sim genre by transposing the action into outer space. On October 25th, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” will debut as a day one title on Xbox Game Pass. Typically, the open beta is exclusive to those who pre-order the game; however, it will also be accessible to Game Pass subscribers.
