As we’ve moved past mid-May, Xbox Game Pass has some major plans for the remainder of the month. Microsoft has spilled the beans about what’s in store for the upcoming fortnight, and there’s plenty to look forward to across all subscription levels. For those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, there are two day-one games on the horizon, but the most anticipated release is accessible to everyone. Here’s a sneak peek at the games joining the lineup over the next two weeks:
[List of games]
- May 22nd- Creatures of Ava (Xbox Series X|S) through Game Pass Standard
- May 22nd- STALKER 2 (Xbox Series X|S) through Game Pass Standard
- May 22nd- Tales of Kenzera: Zau (Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- May 27th- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 (Console, PC, Cloud) through Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass

Among all the games available right now, I’d say “Metaphor: ReFantazio” is creating quite a buzz. This RPG was one of the standout titles of 2024, earning Game of the Year awards and nominations from numerous sources. With its arrival on Xbox Game Pass, it’s the ideal chance for subscribers to experience firsthand what all the excitement’s been about. And if you’ve already completed “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,” which landed on Game Pass last month, this might be the next fantastic RPG adventure for you. As an RPG fan, these past few weeks have been pretty generous to us with the games on Game Pass!
This month also includes an intriguing new entry: “To a T”. This game has been developed by uvula, a fresh studio helmed by Keita Takahashi, the mastermind behind the Katamari Damacy series. In this game, the protagonist, Teen, is unique in that his arms are permanently extended in the shape of a T-pose, making certain tasks more challenging for him. Consequently, players will need to aid Teen in navigating his world. For enthusiasts of Katamari Damacy, Takahashi’s latest creation appears quite captivating and distinctive.
All in all, May proved to be a significant month for Xbox Game Pass as it kicked off with DOOM: The Dark Ages, and there are several major games scheduled for release over the next couple of weeks. We’ll have to wait and see what next month brings, but with the Xbox Games Showcase happening on June 8th, we might not need to wait too long to learn about the future plans.
