As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement when it comes to potential leaks about upcoming games. The latest one hinting at Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time joining Xbox Game Pass feels like a tantalizing possibility, especially given Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.
It seems that an unannounced Xbox Game Pass title, set to launch after Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on December 9, has been accidentally revealed through Amazon Fire TV stick. Currently, Microsoft has only confirmed two titles for Xbox Game Pass in December: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on December 9 and Overthrown on December 5. Given that Indiana Jones is a significant release and offers a major day-one benefit to subscribers, it’s reasonable to assume that there are more than just these two games joining Xbox Game Pass in December.
Strengthening this suspicion is a recent disclosure, posted on Reddit. On the “Gaming” section of Reddit, a user divulged that a game not yet included in Xbox Game Pass appears as compatible with Xbox Game Pass through an Amazon Fire TV Stick. The game at the center of this leak is Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
There’s a good chance this could be a mistake, given that the link leads to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. But it might also be a leak. In fact, leaks of Xbox Game Pass games have happened before in similar ways. Since Activision is now owned by Microsoft, it’s only a matter of time until Activision games like Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time become available on Xbox Game Pass. Essentially, it’s not a question of if, but when such games will be added to the service.
Crash 4 randomly appeared on my Firestick as Gamepass compatible. Maybe is coming soon?

At present, treat the information in this leak as unverified, similar to any other leak. Up until now, no involved parties have provided comments regarding the leak or the conjectures it has sparked. Should there be any updates, rest assured that we’ll promptly amend our account of the situation.
Speaking of the game, Crash Bandicoot 4: All About Time was launched in the year 2020, serving as the eighth primary title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise. On Metacritic, it has garnered scores between 80 and 86, with slight differences depending on the platform used for play.
In the game’s official description for newcomers, it’s revealed that Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are causing chaos across not just one universe, but the entire multiverse! To put a stop to their mayhem, Crash and Coco are back, and they’re on a mission to gather the four Quantum Masks, defying the laws of reality itself. You can expect new powers, additional playable characters, different dimensions, over-the-top bosses, and the same incredible fun – though, in this universe, ‘jorts’ don’t actually exist!
