Following the completion of their annual Summer event, Xbox is now focusing on Gamescom, which will take place from August 20th to 24th in Cologne, Germany. Not only has Xbox confirmed they’ll be there, but they’ve also announced that the Xbox Fan Fest will make a comeback on August 20th as well.
During the past year, the company ran a three-day broadcast, sharing multiple updates and particulars about various games. Some of the announced titles were “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl”, “Age of Mythology: Retold”, “Towerborne”, “Avowed” and “Ara: History Untold”. Naturally, it also showcased titles like “Star Wars Outlaws” and “Atomfall”, along with other third-party games and indie productions.
So far, Microsoft has announced the releases of “Gears of War: Reloaded” on August 26th, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants” on September 4th, and “The Outer Worlds 2” on October 29th. It’s expected that “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7” will arrive sometime, possibly in November.
It’s possible that Team Ninja’s “Ninja Gaiden 4” may debut before its scheduled October 21st release date, given that it’s published by Xbox Game Studios. Keep an eye out for further updates as we approach Gamescom.
