In essence, the analysis provides an impressive overview of The Outer Worlds 2, boasting noticeably enhanced graphics and improved game mechanics over its 2019 version.
To clarify, I strongly recommend enabling Vsync during gameplay as screen tearing is quite bothersome for me, causing a visually distracting flicker throughout the gaming experience. Let’s hope this issue doesn’t persist in future presentations.
The exciting news is that we won’t have to wait much longer for updates on The Outer Worlds 2, as it will take center stage during a Direct presentation immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, which starts at 10:00 a.m PT / 1:00 p.m ET on June 8, 2025.
As an analyst, I’m excited to share that, following our comprehensive presentations of our first-party games, we delve deeper into one specific title after our initial showcase. For instance, in the years 2023 and 2024, we plan to provide a detailed look at Starfield and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 respectively.
Beyond The Outer Worlds 2, other first-party titles planned for release in the latter part of this year include remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, as well as the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 4.
In simple terms, Obsidian Entertainment is preparing for a two-part release, with their role-playing game Avowed coming out earlier this year. At present, the CEO of Obsidian, Feargus Urquhart, pointed out that the company has expanded substantially since it was bought by Microsoft.
In the future, “The Outer Worlds 2” will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5. As with all Xbox first-party games, it will also launch simultaneously on day one for subscribers of both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
