A significant portion of the storyline and gameplay remains consistent as humanity flees Earth’s destruction on board the USS White Whale. They eventually crash-land on a new planet called Mira, where they establish a colony with the aim of rescuing survivors from the Lifeholds of the White Whale. While encountering various wild creatures, an indigenous alien species on Mira also emerges, leading to confrontations.
