Next month, Nintendo will release a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, which provides an overview of all important details. Unlike other series installments, this game features a self-contained storyline where humanity evacuates from a conflict between two extraterrestrial factions in the year 2054.
In the scenario where the White Whale lands on Mira, you join BLADE, tasked with aid and defense of New Los Angeles. This role involves combating perilous creatures, saving citizens, exploring Mira’s vast landscapes, and more. Fans of the series will find combat familiar, but it introduces a novel feature called Overdrive. With this feature, you can use Arts without cooldown for 20 seconds.
Additionally, you’re able to operate Skells – mechanical entities boasting distinct capabilities and functions capable of inflicting substantial damage. Moreover, these Skells have the ability to transform, streamlining your exploration endeavors.
In addition to the solo campaign, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition provides an online multiplayer mode where as many as 32 players can join in on global missions to accomplish tasks together. Additionally, four players can team up and engage in tough battles. To top it off, there’s additional content post-storyline for even more challenges to conquer.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition launches on March 20th for Nintendo Switch.
