Yooka-Replaylee, Playtonic’s “love letter to our love letter to classic 3D platformers”, is a remixed and remastered version of Yooka-Laylee, and it’s inching ever closer to release on PS5. There is still no firm date on this one, but it has been pledged for release later in 2025.
Thankfully, we got a bunch of gameplay in a new trailer showing off the offering’s latest features. A fresh control scheme, new moves, and the ability to chain moves together are just some of the ways in which Playtonic has incorporated feedback from the original and comes jam-packed with additional content and secrets to uncover.
