As an Xbox Game Pass PC player, starting today until September 6, I’ll be immersed in the process of leveling up a character and testing out this new system. The maximum level for all characters has been raised to 60, complete with fresh paragon boards and distinct class skills for each class. Come September 6, I’ll get the chance to test endgame mechanics by visiting the Boost NPC in Kyovashad and boosting my character accordingly
Additionally using the Boost NPC you can do the following:
- Level your character to max there are options to increase from 50 to 60.
- Complete the Map including Strongholds, Waypoints and Fog of War.
- Complete your class mechanic.
- Unlock all Torment tiers (the new difficulty levels).
- Fully upgrade your potion.
- Max all Aspects in your Codex.
- Max all Paragon Glyphs.
- Generate Legendaries.
- Grant all Uniques.
- Grant all Runes.
- Grant all Temper Manuals.

You have the option to execute these instructions either simultaneously on your character or separately. Important to note, any changes made during the PTR testing phase won’t transfer to your primary game once it concludes
What can I test in the Diablo 4 PTR?
In Patch 2.0 for Diablo 4, you’ll find a blend of features from Seasons 4 and 5, including fresh Helltides, Infernal Hordes, updated Tempering recipes, and an array of new Mythic Uniques. However, the most significant alterations are the elimination of World Tiers as a measure of difficulty and their replacement with a system that includes Normal, Hard, Expert, Penitent, and Torment difficulties 1-4. This update also invites players to test out these changes, along with the revamped character progression systems, leveling mechanics, and a new maximum level cap of 60, offering fresh skills and gear for each class
In the Patch 2.0 details, you’ll find a variety of changes, with the developers warning that as there are numerous adjustments, some elements might temporarily malfunction. That’s just part of the testing process!
