You Can Play Gears of War for the First Time Ever on PS5 This Weekend

This weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to try out Gears of War: Reloaded for the first time on your PlayStation 5, as Microsoft is set to commence a consecutive series of multiplayer beta weekends starting this weekend.

For those who pre-order the title from the PlayStation Store, the first beta weekend event begins at 12PM Pacific Time on June 13th and ends at 12PM Pacific Time on June 15th. A second session follows from 12PM Pacific Time on June 20th to 12PM Pacific Time on June 22nd.

In simpler terms, if you pre-order the game from the PlayStation Store, you can participate in the beta weekend event which will start at 12PM PT on June 13th and end at 12PM PT on June 15th. Another session will take place from 12PM PT on June 20th to 12PM PT on June 22nd.

As a gamer, I can’t wait for the 26th of August, the day I finally get my hands on the completely remastered PS5 version of the classic Xbox 360 third-person shooter. This will be my chance to relive the glory days!

To start with, the beta version will feature Team Deathmatch on three popular maps: Gridlock, Raven Down, and Gold Rush. In the second week, we’ll also introduce the King of the Hill mode along with the maps Canals, Courtyard, and War Machine.

Additionally, pre-ordering grants you access to bonus character skins for the ultimate online multiplayer experience. These include Marcus Fenix’s father, Adam Fenix, and the commanding voice of Delta Squad, Anya Stroud.
