At the moment, you can already play PGA Tour 2K25 on your PlayStation 5, as it’s been released early, nearly a month before its official launch date of February 28th.
In simpler terms, you can download the “First Look” demonstration version for free, which gives you an early opportunity to play around with the golf simulation software. If you choose to buy it later, your progress from this demo will carry over to the complete edition.
As per the press release, the demo includes the following modes:
- MyPLAYER Customisation
- Players can create up to three MyPLAYER builds to discover the perfect combination to fit their desired playstyle and progress their MyPLAYERs from 65 to 70 OVR. Customisation elements include physical appearance, hair and body type, archetype, performance stats, and select gear and apparel.
- Local Match
- The back nine at TPC Scottsdale and WM Phoenix Open are available to test MyPLAYER skills.
- Training
- This area and lessons are fully accessible, providing the same experience featured in the full game.
- Quests
- Featured for player onboarding and skill development.
This demo offers quite a rich experience to explore, even though it’s restricted to a rating of 70. However, this will undoubtedly provide an advantage when the complete game becomes available.
Have you grabbed the trial version of it already? I’d love to hear your impressions thus far. Feel free to share your opinions in the comment area underneath.
