The episode of Doctor Who’s Interstellar Song Contest remains popular within the series, and the viewership numbers for the week have recently been disclosed.

The show that aired before the live telecast of the Eurovision Song Contest featured appearances by Rylan and Graham Norton, and it was filled with several surprising revelations, such as unveiling the real identity of Mrs. Flood.

It seems that the latest episode truly met the expectations of fans, given that the viewership for the Interstellar Song Contest over a seven-day period reached an impressive 3,754,000, according to Barb’s data.

The episode ranked among the 50 most popular shows aired during the week starting on May 12th, attracting viewers not only from BBC One but also from BBC iPlayer.

Absolutely, new episodes from the current season become available on iPlayer every Saturday morning at 8 am, before they air on television in the evening. Interestingly, the viewership data for these early releases has been remarkably high, making it one of the standout statistics for this particular season so far.

Among all the previous episodes, it’s clear that the Interstellar Song Contest has had the highest numbers yet.

Approximately 3.571 million people tuned in for the season opener, “The Robot Revolution.” About 3.004 million viewers watched the second episode, titled “Lux,” and around 3.23 million spectators watched episode 3, known as “The Well.

In Season 15, a multitude of story arcs and characters are set to unfold leading up to the closing episodes, as the narrative shifts to the “Wish World”. Here, the Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, and Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu, find themselves exploring an alternate dimension. This dreamscape was conjured by the antagonist Conrad Clark (Jonah Hauer-King) and brought to life by the Rani (Archie Panjabi).

Leaving us hanging with many unanswered questions and much more to explore, the stage is perfectly set for what promises to be an exciting finale, titled “The Reality War”.

In this episode, a fierce air battle ensues as the malevolent trio known as the Unholy Trinity carries out their lethal agenda. The Doctor, Belinda, and Ruby must be prepared to stake everything on a mission to protect a single blameless existence.

On Saturday, 31st May, it would be delightful if the movies “World” and “Reality War” could be screened together in cinemas, much like the two-part finale of season 14.

On Saturday, 31st May 2025, the adventures of Doctor Who will continue on BBC One in the UK, airing at 6:50 PM local time. For those living outside the UK, you can catch up with the series on Disney+. Enjoy the journey!
