In the most recent episode of EastEnders, two characters found themselves in grave danger when one vehicle swerved off the road and sank into a lake.
When Zack Hudson (James Farrar) revealed to Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) that he was actually Barney Mitchell’s (Lewis Bridgeman) biological father and expressed his desire to take Barney with him, it triggered a series of unfortunate circumstances.
Harry disclosed the truth to his father Roland Manookian, which prompted Laura Doddington to admit her past relationship with Zack about their hidden affair.
As I sat there, gripped by the unfolding drama, I found myself in the peculiar position of shielding Harry from a shocking revelation – one heaped upon us by none other than Nicola herself: she had taken the life of his girlfriend, Shireen Bashar. The tension was palpable as Nicola was promptly ordered to vacate the premises and swear never to return, leaving Harry reeling in disbelief. A chilling moment indeed!
In response to Teddy’s distress about the potential impact of Barney’s paternity on him, Harry resolved to prevent Zack from disclosing this secret. He then knocked Zack unconscious and placed him in the trunk of a car.
Upon receiving Harry’s communication concerning the Zack predicament, Teddy became alarmed and sped off in pursuit of his half-brother Billy (Perry Fenwick), heading straight for Harry’s location in his vehicle.
In a side road, the group consisting of Teddy, Billy, Emma Barton (Honey), and Paul Bradley (Nigel Bates) discovered Harry parked. There, they helped an injured Zack out of his vehicle and transferred him into Teddy’s car.
Instead of dialing the police, Honey chose to stick with the Mitchell philosophy, deciding to attempt to safeguard Harry instead.
Initially, Teddy intended to drive Zack home, but once Zack came to in the car, he suddenly seized the steering wheel, resulting in the car veering off course and crashing into a nearby lake.
