You Won’t Believe Luffy’s Shocking Weakness in One Piece’s Final Saga!

As we delve deeper into the Final Arc of the One Piece manga, I’m absolutely thrilled to witness some of the most epic battles yet! During the Wano Country Arc, Luffy’s skills have reached new heights. Not only did he master Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, but he also unlocked the secret of his devil fruit – the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika. This Mythical Zoan type grants its user rubber-like abilities, and Luffy can now transform into Nika, the Sun God, while elongating his body just like rubber! And similar to other Paramecia users, he can influence his surroundings too. It’s mind-blowing stuff!

Luffy’s abilities are linked to legendary characters like Sung God Nika and Joyboy, the first pirate ever recorded. Nika is a legendary figure often referred to as the Liberator Warrior. On the other hand, Joyboy was once a citizen of the Ancient Kingdom who battled against 20 allied nations during the Void Century. Luffy’s devil fruit not only gives him extraordinary powers but plays a crucial role in the storyline. Now, he can even challenge Kaido in Wano. Despite this immense power, which allows for Gear 5 form, Luffy faced significant challenges on Egghead Island, as his author intentionally limited his capabilities within the One Piece universe.

Luffy’s Greatest Weakness in One Piece Is His Stamina

In Gear 5 mode, Luffy rapidly exhausts his energy in “One Piece.” During the Wano arc, he quickly loses this form, turning wrinkled and dull. Yet, he controls his heart rate and transforms once more to defeat Kaido. In the Egghead scenario, he encounters numerous adversaries while frequently employing Gear 5. Still mastering this newfound power, he often depletes his stamina several times in the turmoil. The only way to get him back to the fight was by overfeeding him to restore his vigor.

At some stage, Luffy consumes all the food stockpile on the island, further boosting his strength beyond that of Admiral Kizaru. This is a stark difference from the Sabaody Archipelago Arc where the Straw Hat team were powerless against him. Nevertheless, Luffy isn’t just battling Kizaru but also Saturn, all while safeguarding Vegapunk. Not long after, members of the Gorosei assemble at Egghead.

Faced with numerous formidable adversaries closing in from every angle, and with Vegapunk’s life hanging in the balance, Luffy found himself with no other option but to employ Gear 5 extensively. Yet, this powerful form comes with a heavy cost: a crippling side-effect that slows him down considerably during the battle.

Luffy Will Face Much Stronger Opponents in the Final Saga

It’s logical that this nerf is essential to maintain the fights engaging, but if Luffy doesn’t quickly get a handle on his Gear 5, it could be disastrous. The Final Saga is going to present adversaries far more powerful than we’ve encountered before. If Luffy has trouble facing an Admiral because of the side-effects of using Gear 5, he won’t have a chance against the Holy Knights or the final villain. In Chapter 1083, Dragon hinted that the true battle will commence when the Holy Knights are incapacitated.

Regarding the fact that notorious criminals have different capabilities, it’s important to remember that the Holy Knights should be respected for their power and skill. As they approach Elbaf, our crew is about to encounter a danger far greater than any Admiral. Luffy can’t rely on finding food during battles as he usually does. There’s also Loki, who could potentially escape his restraints with assistance from someone else. The combined forces of the strongest warriors of Elbaf barely managed to capture the Prince, indicating just how powerful they are.

Six years past, when Loki hadn’t yet consumed the devil fruit, the World Government set a bounty of 2.6 billion berries on his head. Now, it’s clear that Loki has grown significantly stronger as the Cursed Prince. Therefore, Luffy needs to address this issue promptly. Fortunately for him, his powers grow with each fight he undertakes. The narrative tends to favor the protagonist overcoming adversity, so by the start of the Final War, Luffy should be able to fully master this ability.

In a single-handed battle against multiple kingdoms, Joyboy has demonstrated an unprecedented strength that could make him one of history’s strongest characters. In One Piece Chapter 1122, even the mighty Imu was brought to his knees upon sensing Joyboy’s stored haki within Emet. Given that Luffy shares these powers, it is inevitable that he will grow equally or perhaps even surpass Joyboy in strength.
