You Won’t Believe What Prince Harry Does with His Daughter on International Women’s Day

Prince Harry shows he’s a hands-on deck dad in a never-before-seen photo with his little girl.

In an uncommon moment, Meghan Markle’s husband was captured in a photograph seated in a boat with their child, Princess Lilibet, nestled on his lap, while he tenderly kissed her atop her head.

In the Instagram photo posted by the Duchess of Sussex for International Women’s Day on March 8, their three-year-old can be seen sporting a vibrant pink shirt paired with gray, yellow, and pink floral leggings, styled half of her hair in a ponytail. Meanwhile, Harry is dressed comfortably in a white T-shirt, striped shorts, sunglasses, and a denim cap turned backwards.

Meghan expressed her joy on International Women’s Day, sharing old photos with her mother Doria Ragland and a picture with her spouse. She celebrated the powerful women in her life and the young girls with ambitions, destined to become visionary women. She also acknowledged those who inspire and support her daily.

Although Harry himself doesn’t maintain any public social media profiles, his wife recently reactivated her Instagram account on New Year’s Day. Since then, she has been posting previously unseen photos, including those of their 5-year-old son, Archie, while concealing their faces. This week, Meghan even shared a video of the children assisting her and friends in cooking.

On March 6, the Duchess shared on Instagram that baking thumbprint cookies at home turned into a family project! She expressed gratitude to ‘@_heartmom_’ and ‘@clarewaightkeller’ for their affection and additional help!

In the debut of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show titled “With Love, Meghan“, which premiered on March 4th, the series doesn’t feature Archie and Lilibet, but it does include discussions about them in conversations between Meghan and her friends. During an episode, she chats with Mindy Kaling regarding how her children and their family’s title influenced a decision to change their name.

It’s amusing that you continue referring to me as Meghan Markle, said the individual formerly known as Meghan Markle to the actor from The Office. “But remember, I go by Sussex now.

She added, “If you have kids, saying your name is the same as theirs feels significant. I didn’t realize how important this connection would become, but it carries such weight when I say, ‘This is our shared family name – our small, yet meaningful family name.’

Meghan Markle, who is well-known for her fondness for jams, disclosed that she developed a passion for preserving fruits after she and her husband Prince Harry settled into their residence in Montecito, California. She explained this during the second episode of “With Love, Meghan,” while plucking berries. “These vines were already here when we moved in,” she said. “They sparked my interest in making jams and preserves.” As for her preferred preserve, that remains to be seen.

The Duchess of Sussex mentioned that her grandmother used to make apple butter, which she finds sentimental. Now, her children, Archie and Lilibet, get to experience this tradition as well. She added that the smell of slowly cooking fruit in their home would become a comforting association for them, like “Here’s Mom again, making preserves.” Interestingly, even Lili has tried her hand at making preserves. In one instance, they made strawberry preserve together, with Lili eagerly helping out. As Meghan shared during the fifth episode, “Lili and I actually made this batch together. She picked all those berries with me, and then she’s like, ‘No no, mama. I’ll do it.’ And she wanted to try. She said, ‘I’ll stir it. I’ll mash it.’ Great. And then you keep the hot stuff away and go ahead and pour it in. But she’s proud. That part feels good.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must say that it’s quite impressive to find out that Harry, who graced our screens, possesses some exceptional culinary talents! In episode five, Meghan, his loving wife, casually mentioned that he’s a whiz in the kitchen, particularly when it comes to whipping up delicious breakfast dishes. She even shared a secret about how Harry prefers his food seasoned – he always adds salt before tasting, which is quite intriguing! In episode two, Meghan revealed that this habit of his inspired her to be more mindful with the salt in their meals.

As a devoted follower of fashion, I personally lean towards the “high-low” approach, which means blending luxury items with more affordable pieces. For instance, during episode two when I hosted the delightful Mindy Kaling for a tea party, I showcased this style by donning Zara pants, a Loro Piana top, and a sweater from Jenni Kayne.

In this television series, Meghan demonstrates her passion for hosting, culinary arts, horticulture, and interior design. However, she also shares insights into some lesser-known aspects of her personality.

For example, in one episode, she organizes a game night with her companions. She mentioned that they have recently learned to play mahjong together. “Mahjong originated in China during the 1800s,” she explained. “We play an American version of it. What I’ve grown to appreciate about mahjong is not just the game itself, but the experience of learning something new with friends and realizing that the game serves as a backdrop for the growth of friendships.”

In another episode, her friend Vicky Tsai, who founded Tatcha, disclosed Meghan’s fondness for pickleball. Meanwhile, Meghan herself revealed some of her preferred music genres.

In the fifth episode, Meghan shared that she enjoys listening to an abundance of ’70s soft rock, yacht rock, and Soul music. Additionally, she mentioned having a taste for French dinner party tunes.

As for her culinary preferences, she expressed a remarkable resilience towards spicy foods.

At a young age, our resources were limited, but we still managed to explore various destinations,” she explained. “My mom worked as a travel agent, which allowed us to sample countless cuisines and visit numerous locations. My mom would often prepare gumbo, a dish that’s rich in flavor and spice. I find myself yearning for that intensity of flavor, and I’m naturally drawn to it. As a result, I am introducing my family to my taste preferences, yet I can’t get enough of it.

In episode two, Meghan reminisced about her childhood, saying, “Back then felt so normal, but it seems like a different era now. I was raised on quick and easy meals from the microwave, specifically kids’ meals that came in divided sections…I used to consume a lot of Pollo Loco, Taco Bell (with extra hot sauce on their Mexican pizzas), and Jack in the Box because my mom loved their tacos.

Beyond just reminiscing about my past, I delved into some cherished moments from my childhood as well. One such memory was my time spent with the Girl Scouts.

She mentioned in the fourth episode that she had been a Girl Scout for quite some time. Her scouting journey began when she was around five or six as a Daisy, and she sold numerous boxes of cookies. Remarkably, her mother served as the troop leader for Troop 949.

Following their retirement from active royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan retained their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In her book With Love, Meghan, she expressed the importance of the Sussex name to her, stating:

“It’s quite amusing that you keep referring to me as Meghan Markle,” Meghan told Mindy in episode two. “You see, I’m Sussex now. Just like parents often share their names with their children, I didn’t realize how meaningful it would be for me to say, ‘This is our family name. Our little family name.’

Discussing Archie and Lili, Meghan shared some intriguing tidbits about their lives during the series. As a mother of two, she divulged that they both enjoy gardening, taking it quite seriously with their own tools. She also mentioned that her daughter, Lili, has created a song from the cleaning mantra, “Clean as you go.”

In episode five, Meghan shared that she and Archie make sun tea together, and there was a time when he caught a trout while fishing. Furthermore, cooking with her children is something she cherishes deeply.

“It’s so important to me for them to learn from these experiences and create lasting memories,” she said in episode five. “They’ll remember, ‘Oh mama used to make this.’

Before she became famous as an actress and duchess, Meghan Markle started her career at a yogurt shop named Humphrey Yogart when she was thirteen years old. Later, during her childhood, she also worked at a small doughnut shop called Lil Orbits Donuts, where they made miniature doughnuts. In college, she worked as a cocktail waitress in Chicago but had to switch back to being a coat-check girl due to a mix-up with a customer’s martini order. Additionally, Meghan shared that she used to conduct gift-wrapping classes when she was just starting her acting career.

In episode four, Meghan gathers with Nacho Figueras’ wife Delfina Blaquier, and she shares her thoughts about her time spent abroad. She explains that she adored Argentina because it reminded her of California in many aspects, as both places offer breathtaking mountain vistas and a lively zest for life outdoors. Though her stay was brief, just a few months interning at the U.S. embassy, she found herself captivated by the experience.

Meghan starred as Rachel Zane in the TV series ‘Suits’ from 2011 to 2018, and the day she learned she was relocating to Toronto for the part remains etched in her memory.

She mentioned on episode two that it’s been chosen for filming. It’s happening in Toronto. So, what does that mean?” she said. “So, one season in Toronto, fantastic. Two seasons? Well, is my life going to be relocated to another place now? Fortunately, I appreciate Canada and have always tried to bring the cast over or meet people at the dog park with my dog.”

In addition, her co-star Abigail Spencer can be seen in one of the episodes of ‘With Love, Meghan’.

In January, it was shared that Meghan’s cherished dog, Guy, had sadly passed away. This lovable beagle featured prominently in the Netflix series, and Meghan frequently expressed her deep affection for him. As she said in episode four, “I would do anything for Guy, and he knows it.” He was whatever type of companion she needed on different days—sweet, silly, saucy, or spoiled. And he was always by her side. In episode five, she explained that “Guy’s just always there… He’s been with me for a very long time.” Guy had accompanied Meghan since she lived in Toronto, and they shared many adventures together, from the U.K., back to Canada, and finally to California. After the final episode, Meghan dedicated the series to the memory of her beloved Guy.
