In addition to the freshly launched Ninja Gaiden 4, publisher Koei Tecmo has simultaneously unveiled and made available a PS5 remaster of the acclaimed action game, Ninja Gaiden 2, titled Ninja Gaiden 2 Black. This revamped version of the initial game is now available, featuring the Unreal Engine 5 for an upgraded experience. The original game title returns with improved graphics, new playable characters, and additional game modes. As stated on the PS Store, every stage, character, effect, and lighting has been reworked and enhanced to deliver a realistic visual experience. By utilizing Unreal Engine 5, players can now enjoy current-generation graphics that deepen their engagement with the game’s storyline world.
Additionally, the updated Black edition introduces playable characters from later stages of the game: Momiji, Ayane, and Rachel. It seems they’ve added a Hero Play Style mode to cater to players who might find the game a tad challenging.
