In June, the multiplayer football game called Rematch, created by the same developers as Sifu and Absolver, will be available for purchase. However, prior to its official launch, there’s an opportunity for you to preview it during an open beta testing period.
In this upcoming beta version, consoles like the PlayStation 5 will be included for the first time. The open beta period is scheduled from May 28th to May 31st. It starts and ends at 1pm BST / 5am PDT / 8am EDT on those particular dates.
You have the option to participate by registering for a beta invite on the official site. However, starting from 29th May, the developers at Sloclap are planning to grant access to everyone.

To participate in the beta version, you must have an active PlayStation Plus membership. The beta doesn’t include cross-play functionality, but it will be available in the final release of the game.
To summarize, Rematch is a 5 versus 5 football/soccer game where each team has 10 players, with one player for each position on the field. It’s like Rocket League’s version of real-life sports; it features quick match durations, no penalties or referees, and encourages teamwork. Additionally, the arenas have walls that allow the ball to rebound.
Instead of focusing on combat as they have in the past, Sloclap’s new game, Rematch, seems to maintain their signature quick movements and smooth animations. It also appears that this game, like their previous titles, offers a challenging learning curve with a high skill cap.
