A YouTube personality with over 200,000 subscribers announced sadly that his girlfriend, Natalie Clark, recently passed away due to a rare and severe bacterial infection. The illness came close to claiming the YouTuber‘s life too.
He started his July 15th post with this: “Most of you may not be aware, but I had a close call with death recently.” For eleven days, I was a patient in the hospital. Sadly, Natalie didn’t survive and passed away.
Along with revealing that he and Natalie were infected with Vibrio vulnificus, a harmful bacterium that can lead to severe symptoms such as fever, vomiting, and diarrhea (as stated by the Cleveland Clinic), after consuming raw oysters, Ben also paid a heartfelt homage to his deceased companion.
As I reflect on our past adventures, I can’t help but recall the times we found ourselves lost in unfamiliar places. Those moments, filled with frustration and uncertainty, are etched into my memory. But despite the challenges, I cherish those memories because I was sharing them with her. And even though she is no longer by my side, my love for her remains unwavering. Life is unpredictable, so I urge you all to hold your loved ones close and appreciate each moment spent together. Stay safe, my friends. You never know when the last goodbye will be said.
Alongside Billy, Yvette Berthelot LeBlanc, his mother, provided further information on the unfortunate incident and expressed heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of support towards their family.
In her July 6 post, it was mentioned that Billy and Natalie fell seriously ill after consuming raw oysters. Tragically, Natalie passed away, and Billy came dangerously close to meeting the same fate. Please keep Julian, Natalie’s son, and Billy in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for their family, as they both work towards recovery.
Previously, Billy was a member of the YouTube channel “Bratayleys” alongside his former spouse, Katie LeBlanc, and their kids Annie, Hayley, and their deceased son Caleb, who sadly passed away in 2015.
After their divorce in 2019, Billy started his own YouTube channel named “Just Billy LeBlanc.” In the year 2020, he introduced Natalie, who is Julian’s mother of a 17-year-old son, as his new girlfriend on this channel.
After that, Natalie frequently appeared in Billy’s videos and online posts. They both shared their adventures through various locations, regularly snapping pictures with a “Lost St.” sign in view for the captions on their social media platforms.
Earlier this year, Natalie wrote a heartfelt birthday message for Billy, expressing her joy for their shared experiences.
“On January 19th, she wrote: ‘Happy birthday to you, dear!’ These moments are precious – they shape us into the strong partnership we are, despite challenges. Cheers to another year of living, not just for us, but for you.”
