As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I find myself deeply concerned about the actions and decisions of Jack Doherty, the 20-year-old YouTuber who seems to be going viral for all the wrong reasons. His recent crash of his $200,000 McLaren 570S, while livestreaming on Kick, is a clear example of reckless behavior that not only puts himself at risk but also endangers others around him.

YouTuber Jack Doherty is going viral for all the wrong reasons.

On October 5th, the popular 20-year-old social media personality had a frightening accident as he crashed his expensive $200,000 car while broadcasting live on Kick. This incident was captured and shared with viewers in real-time, according to NBC News.

In the now-popular video that originally appeared on Kick and swiftly spread across X (previously known as Twitter), Jack’s videographer, Michael, captured footage of Jack navigating a Miami freeway while it drizzled, all from the passenger side.

In a moment, Jack, frequently glancing at his mobile device, suddenly exclaimed in distress, “Not now, not now, not now!”, tightening his grip on the steering wheel of his unique McLaren 570S just as the live broadcast temporarily cut out.

Later, his voice could be heard instructing his camera operator to open the door, just before the scene shifted to Michael, who was bleeding profusely. Upon examination, it seemed that the entire front of the sports car had been severely damaged following a collision with a sturdy metal highway barricade.

In the video recording, Jack could be heard questioning his friend about his well-being before telling him to keep filming as they looked at the aftermath of the event.

“Oh my god, bro!” Jack repeatedly said in the livestream. “My whole f–king car, bro!”

In a video he shared on X after the accident—which he titled, “I crashed my McLaren… thankful we’re both safe”—Jack was observed kicking open the car window while shouting for assistance from passersby. As they managed to extract Jack through the driver’s side window, he requested one of the onlookers to hold his camera for him.

Later on, he posted another video from a hospital room, showing Michael getting stitched up due to the accident-related injuries.

TopMob News has reached out to Jack’s reps for comment and has not yet heard back.

Users on social media swiftly voiced their disapproval towards Jack, commenting that instead of prioritizing the welfare of his injured companion, he appeared to focus more on capturing the event on video.

After the accident, the video where it happened (which he was live-streaming at the time) as well as Jack’s entire account or profile, have been taken down from the platform by them.

[Kick] strongly disapproves of any unlawful conduct,” the firm expressed in a statement to People, “consequently, we promptly acted and removed the content creator from our platform.

Absolutely, the community rules on this platform emphasize the importance of prioritizing everyone’s safety. This includes ensuring that you avoid any actions that could potentially be harmful to yourself or others.

In June 2023, Jack, boasting almost 15 million YouTube followers, splurged on a McLaren that cost more than $200,000, an event he shared with his audience by creating a video for his channel.

Previously, it wasn’t the first occasion where the social media innovator stirred up debate by posting videos of him colliding with a car on his platform.

In November, he posted a video showing him somersaulting in a golf cart as his girlfriend rode along, and in March, he overturned an all-terrain vehicle, leading to an injury on his arm.
