Next year in Japan, there will be an upgraded version of Falcom’s “Ys 10: Nordics” titled “Ys 10: Proud Nordics“. According to a recent announcement (translated via DeepL), this release features a fresh narrative set on the new Aland Island, which can be accessed during the primary storyline.
As Adol and Karja journey through, they’ll stumble upon different ruins, meet a fresh Mana user, and utilize a novel Mana Ability. Aland Island features an expansive map filled with exploration zones, featuring new bosses, Mana Ride races, and arenas where you can fight formidable foes. More information will be revealed, such as the platforms it’s available on and its cost. It remains undecided if it will launch simultaneously in North America and Europe.
In terms of “Ys 10: Nordics”, it’s playable on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It boasts innovative combat features such as the Cross Action system that enables players to perform coordinated attacks with two characters at once.
