Story Prologue
In a bustling town on the Romanian border, known as Casnan, there’s an exciting gold rush underway. Amidst the miners and laborers, a ginger-haired youth meanders through the throng. Unfortunate circumstances lead him to collide with a rowdy miner who, in turn, instigates a fight and delivers a harsh blow.
“What is this place?… Who am I…?”
Just after the young man mutters this, someone suddenly calls out…
“Hey, Adol! Is that you?”
The individual making the loud calls was a towering, well-built gentleman boasting silvery locks. However, the youth couldn’t place him. Remarkably, despite his imposing figure, the man seemed somewhat known to him and excessively cordial, introducing himself as Duren, an informant.
As stated by Duren, the young man’s name is Adol Christin. About a few weeks back, Adol crossed paths with Duren in the city, subsequently journeyed into the vastly unexplored Great Forest of Celceta – a region seldom ventured by locals – and since then, his whereabouts have remained undisclosed.
In the infamous Great Forest of Celceta, or as it was ominously called, the Devil’s Domain, something significant transpired with Adol. He encountered an event that led him to forget his entire past. The reasons for this memory loss remain unclear.
Adol chooses to revisit the off-limits expanse of the Celceta Grand Forest, this occasion accompanied by Duren – a move aimed at unearthing the truth.
