As a dedicated Yu-Gi-Oh! fan since my childhood, I was overjoyed when Konami announced the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and PC systems earlier this year. The prospect of revisiting the classic games that brought me so much joy in my formative years and perhaps even discovering new titles previously only released in Japan, was an exciting proposition.


I was thrilled when Konami unveiled the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and PCs this year. This announcement brought back memories of my childhood, as I reminisced about the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games that probably sparked my enduring love for the franchise. However, there was a downside: the collection would initially only be available in Japan. But now, with new listings on Amazon and Best Buy confirming a global release, fans outside of Japan can also look forward to reliving these cherished experiences or discovering hidden gems that were previously exclusive to Japan.

As a dedicated gamer who’s been hooked on Yu-Gi-Oh! since its inception, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news. Back at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY event in Tokyo, Japan, we were given a sneak peek into something truly special for us long-term fans: the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. This commemorative set, marking the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game, is going to be a treasure trove, gathering together the very first Yu-Gi-Oh! video games ever released. While Konami hasn’t disclosed all the details just yet, we can all eagerly anticipate future announcements regarding the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. So stay tuned, fellow Duelists!

I’m thrilled to step back into the past with this extensive Yu-Gi-Oh! game collection. Traveling through time, we delve into the early years of this beloved franchise. This set boasts a renowned assortment of titles, some of which were previously unavailable outside Japan. Two of these hidden gems are 2000’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists and 2001’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as more titles are yet to be unveiled.
