I was frustrated at myself for squandering the match from a breakpoint and then became consumed with my disappointment and introspection, not even fully aware of who was giving me the balls…All the ball kids performed exceptionally well as they always do at major tournaments.”
Paolini went on to play in the next round but lost to Karolína Muchová Sept. 2.
