As a die-hard fan of Zach Bryan, I must say this episode has been quite the rollercoaster ride! It’s clear that our beloved country singer is just as human as the rest of us, and his drunken tweet about Taylor Swift and Kanye West has taught him a valuable lesson: don’t drink and tweet!

Zach Bryan has learned a powerful lesson—don’t drink and tweet.

On September 18th, a country singer stirred up some controversy by tweeting about Taylor Swift and Kanye West. His tweet read, “I prefer the Eagles over the Chiefs,” followed by, “Kanye over Taylor.” He then asked, “Who agrees with me?

It’s no wonder that Swifties around the world found themselves at odds with Zach following his controversial tweet, leading him to ultimately delete his Twitter-like account.

The tweet contained multiple levels of disrespect since Travis Kelce, Taylor’s boyfriend, plays as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Additionally, Taylor Swift has had a strained relationship with Kanye West, who, together with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, is often targeted in many of her diss songs.

At the crack of dawn on September 19th, Zach took a step back and posted extended apologies and explanations on his Instagram Story.

In response to speculation, “Heading South” singer clarified, “Contrary to what might have been assumed the other night, I wasn’t criticizing Taylor. I was inebriated while discussing two different records, which unfortunately led to a misunderstanding.

In light of the prolonged conflict between Taylor and Kanye West, as well as the debates surrounding the “Gold Digger” artist, the 28-year-old went on to say, “I want to make it clear that my comments were solely about music. I admire Taylor’s musical talent, and I hope everyone understands that I make mistakes and post silly things on Twitter frequently.

He mentioned that Twitter often lands him in trouble, so he thinks it’s wiser for him to avoid it. He regrets any disappointment or upset he may have caused to Taylor Swift’s fans. He loves them dearly and is doing his best!

However, the initial statement wasn’t the last one. In a subsequent posting, Zach delved deeper, playing Taylor Swift’s song “The Albatross.” He confided that he’s been facing some personal struggles, acknowledging, “It seems like I might have been transferring my feelings onto something else.

Speaking about the Grammy winner, Zach went on to express, “I hold her in such high regard as a musician, it’s crucial that no one misinterprets this as me not valuing or admiring the incredible impact she’s made on the music industry.

He concluded his message with a warning to fans: “Don’t drink and tweet. Don’t drink and tweet!!”
