As a seasoned fashion journalist with years of experience covering red carpets and industry events, I can confidently say that this year’s Louis Vuitton party was a true feast for the eyes. The eclectic mix of styles and personalities showcased the unique flair and creativity of each attendee.
No one is challenging Zendaya‘s 2024 Olympics fashion.
As a lifestyle expert, I recently had the pleasure of joining Serena Williams in Paris for the spectacular Prelude to Olympics 2024 event by Luis Vuitton on July 25th. Her outfit, which she wore upon arrival, truly took my breath away.
At the high-fashion event held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, designed by Frank Gehry, Zendaya made a striking entrance in a long, black sequin gown. Her trusted stylist, Law Roach, helped her put together this elegant look. To complement the outfit, she carried a mini Louis Vuitton handbag and styled her blonde hair in a sleek, wet look.
At the gala, Zendaya’s striking outfit left a lasting impression. However, she wasn’t the only one who turned heads – Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Rosalía, and Omar Sy co-hosted the event and each brought their unique style. Notable attendees included Jeremy Allen White, LeBron James, Sophia Bush, and her partner Ashlyn Harris.
I was looking forward to seeing Zendaya and possibly her boyfriend Tom Holland at the occasion. However, unfortunately, Tom was noticeably missing. He’s currently based in London, engrossed in his role as Romeo in a stage adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet.”
The Emmy-winning actress has a busy agenda ahead. Not long ago, it was revealed that the filming for “Euphoria” season three is set to commence in January 2025, following numerous postponements.
Zendaya, who acts alongside Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer in the HBO series created by Sam Levinson, finds portraying Rue Bennett a significant challenge. Previously, she revealed that the intense depiction of her character’s mental health struggles and drug addiction takes a physical toll on her.
In her interview with Elle in February 2022, Zendaya shared this perspective: “My body and mind might distinguish between reality and acting, but my emotions and physical responses do not. I can intellectually understand that what I’m experiencing on set isn’t genuine, but my body reacts as if it is.”
In an acknowledgment of how taxing filming can be, Zendaya admitted, “Sometimes it makes me feel uncomfortable since she performs actions and speaks lines that I don’t prefer. Yet, there I am.”
Luckily, the Disney alum has a support system on set that makes the job a little easier.
She shared that what makes working on “Euphoria” unique is the sense of shared emotion. When she cries during filming, there are usually a dozen people behind the camera doing the same. This feeling of camaraderie and support is invaluable to her as they tackle challenging material together.
