In the eagerly awaited Elbaf storyline of One Piece, a sudden twist unfolds as the Holy Knights unexpectedly appear. Luffy and his team initially received a warm welcome in the legendary Land of Giants, but their joy was short-lived when villains emerged, putting the children at risk. Unfortunately, key battles in Elbaf are still underway, with Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Loki yet to emerge from the Underworld. The Cursed Prince is regaining his strength after years of captivity, but his situation deteriorates further when Gunko tortures him, attempting to coerce him into joining the Holy Knights. However, with Luffy and the others now aware of the turmoil in the Sun World, it won’t be long before the true conflict ignites in Elbaf.
Among all characters in the series, Loki stands out as the most enigmatic, rumored to hold an unprecedented power. Scopper Gaban, even being the left hand of the Pirate King, struggled against the Giant Prince and needed assistance from Shanks. Despite having bested the Holy Knights and seemingly holding the advantage over Sommers, Gaban was defeated by a vision of his son’s death through Future Sight, causing him to surrender immediately. However, Gaban understands that only he can hurt the Holy Knights, making their regenerative abilities ineffective, and recognizes Zoro’s potential as well as his ability to aid in this endeavor.

One Piece Finally Acknowledges Zoro’s Hidden Ability
In the Wano Country Saga, Zoro has demonstrated the ability to use Conqueror’s Haki, although this was never explicitly stated in the series. This omission sparked much speculation among fans for several years. However, Luffy perceived that there was another Straw Hat besides him who possessed the Color of the Supreme King. At first, Sanji believed Gaban was referring to him, but it turned out he was speaking about Zoro. Remarkably, Zoro remains oblivious to his hidden potential, despite Luffy having sensed it in him for quite some time.
In the Wano Arc’s battle against King, it seems Zoro might have employed Advanced Conqueror’s Hki without conscious realization, by applying it to his sword. This isn’t explicitly shown in Chapter 1152, but there’s a strong suggestion that it may be the case.
Also, it’s suspected that the attack Gaban used to prevent Sommers from regenerating was infused with Conqueror’s Haki. Again, this isn’t definitively stated in Chapter 1152, but it’s a strong possibility.
Lastly, given Loki’s abilities and his strength surpassing the Holy Knights, he could prove to be a valuable ally in the upcoming fight.
It seems Sanji, one of Luffy’s key allies among the future Pirate King’s Wings, hasn’t yet unleashed his full potential. In battles against powerful enemies, he shows great skill but may be vulnerable due to certain conditions that disable him. This means Zoro could easily outpace him. If Sanji had already activated this ability, Luffy and Gaban would have detected it. However, it’s clear that Sanji has the capacity for greatness if only he can unlock it.
One Piece’s Elbaf Arc Has Made It Quite Clear That Sanji Needs to Awaken Conqueror’s Haki ASAP
Contrary to popular belief, it’s not about harboring a grand, royal aspiration to activate this talent; instead, what truly matters is possessing a robust willpower. Sanji certainly meets that condition, but, as usual, he lags slightly behind Zoro in the power hierarchy. Ideally, the Wings of the Pirate King ought to be roughly equivalent, and they have been so far. The disparity between their might hasn’t been overwhelmingly vast, but once Zoro gains Conqueror’s Haki, things drastically alter.
Prior to the Wano Country Arc, we were familiar with how Conqueror’s Haki was employed to overpower feeble opponents by either causing them to faint or yield. While it appeared formidable, many believed it was ineffective against stronger adversaries. However, our understanding has been expanded with the introduction of Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, and it seems that Zoro is capable of mastering this skill through dedicated training, making him even more invincible than before. If the Holy Knights are indeed beings resistant to damage without Conqueror’s Haki, then Sanji, who is often at the forefront of battles, will find himself at a significant disadvantage.
Following the Wano Country Saga, he’s significantly bolstered his power after activating his hidden Germa 66 genetics. However, with the story approaching its climax, he’ll need an exceptionally potent ability to match Luffy and Zoro’s prowess. Fortunately, there’s hope since the author may be preparing for another power boost for our cherished chef. The similarities between Gaban and Sanji are striking, much like the comparisons between Luffy and Roger, as well as Zoro and Rayleigh. If this pattern holds, we might be in for another exciting twist.
