If you’ve been enjoying playing as a young James Bond in 007 First Light, you’re in good company. Many players and critics have praised IO Interactive’s fresh take on the iconic MI6 agent, showing a bolder and more energetic side to the character since the game came out.
A new trailer highlights the overwhelmingly positive reviews for the game. We enjoyed it a lot in our review, and it looks like many others feel this is one of the best James Bond games ever made.
What really stood out was how seamlessly stealth mechanics work within the core gameplay. The combat is also incredibly rewarding, though it remains consistently challenging. Beyond that, the game’s storytelling and impressive set-pieces create an experience that feels like playing through a fun, interactive Bond film – while still maintaining its own identity and not simply copying elements from the Hitman series.
