Together, they formed Public Security Section 9, nicknamed ‘Shell Squad,’ and started tackling tough cybercrimes and global conspiracies. During their investigations, they discovered a mysterious hacker known only as the ‘Puppet Master.’ The story follows Kusanagi as she tries to uncover the Puppet Master’s motives and what the future holds for them both, marking the start of a new, exciting cyberpunk adventure.
