In the world of One Piece, Devil Fruits are the primary source of unique abilities. While some, like Luffy’s and Kaido’s, are clearly very powerful, even seemingly weak Devil Fruits can become incredibly dangerous in the hands of a skilled user.
The world of One Piece is full of incredibly strong Devil Fruits, and those appearing in side stories or filler episodes are often just as powerful, if not even more so. Some of these non-canon fruits are particularly unbalanced – if they were added to the main story, they would completely disrupt the power dynamic and potentially ruin the plot.
10) Burst-Burst Fruit

Balzac, a Marine Vice-Admiral and the main villain in One Piece Premier Show 2019, possesses the Burst-Burst Fruit. He commands the Prisoner Unit – a group of prisoners and guards from Impel Down – and attempted to stop the Straw Hat Pirates from reaching the Pirates Festival, but was unsuccessful.
Balzac’s Burst-Burst Fruit is incredibly strong, allowing him to turn anything he touches into a bomb without any obvious weaknesses. He’s comparable to Yoshikage Kira from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in terms of the threat he poses. It took Luffy using his powerful Gear 4 form to finally overcome Balzac, highlighting just how potent his Devil Fruit ability is.
9) Shoot-Shoot Fruit

The Shoot-Shoot Fruit is a Devil Fruit ability used by Bad One Gracie, the villain in One Piece Premier Show 2017. Gracie leads the BIG Pirates, who are allies with the Blackbeard Pirates following the Payback War. His pursuit of the remaining members of the Whitebeard Pirates led to a clash with the Straw Hat Pirates.
Gracie’s Shoot-Shoot Fruit gives its user the ability to transform anything into a firearm. When fully mastered, the range of these created guns extends dramatically, even allowing weapons to materialize from water. The only drawback is that the user’s hands are permanently changed into guns, but the fruit’s incredible versatility makes it a worthwhile trade-off.
8) Clank-Clank Fruit

The Clank-Clank Fruit is a powerful Devil Fruit used by Douglas Bullet, the villain in the movie One Piece: Stampede. Once considered a potential successor to the legendary Gol D. Roger, Bullet escaped from the Impel Down prison thanks to a scheme by Blackbeard. He then plotted to defeat all the rising stars of the pirate world, hoping to prove himself as the strongest.
Bullet’s Clank-Clank Fruit gives him the power to combine nearby metal into mechanical creations. He can use this ability to build strong armor, but also to form enormous, incredibly powerful monsters. This Devil Fruit ability perfectly reflects Bullet’s established reputation as one of the strongest pirates in One Piece.
7) Melt-Melt Fruit

The Melt-Melt Fruit is a powerful ability used by Artur Bacca, the villain in One Piece: Law’s Story. Years after Rocinante died, Bacca attacked Trafalgar Law’s home, Swallow Island, hoping to find a famous treasure. The battle that followed was the turning point that led Law to become a pirate and ultimately defeat Doflamingo.
Bacca’s Melt-Melt Fruit is incredibly powerful, allowing him to liquefy any object. He can even transform his own body into a corrosive acid, granting him movement similar to a Logia-type Devil Fruit user. More surprisingly, the fruit lets him dissolve abstract ideas – like a person’s sense of loyalty – effectively brainwashing them into serving him. It’s a very unusual and potentially overpowered ability, especially considering how someone more skilled could utilize it.
6) Tuning-Tuning Fruit

The Tuning-Tuning Fruit is a Devil Fruit eaten by Yehudi, the villain in One Piece Premier Show 2022. Yehudi used to be a Marine, but he was dismissed because of his rigid sense of justice. He then devised a plan to capture Luffy as he traveled to Elegia, intending to publicly execute him to prove his methods were correct.
Yehudi’s Tuning-Tuning Fruit lets him boost the strength of anything he or his lasers come into contact with. He can not only make things stronger or weaker, but also completely cancel out the abilities of someone who has eaten a Devil Fruit. While the fruit’s effects can be reversed with water, its immense power makes that a minor weakness.
5) Paper-Paper Fruit

Simon, the villain in One Piece: Great Hidden Treasure of the Nanatsu Islands, ate the Paper-Paper Fruit, a type of Devil Fruit. He believed he was a god meant to govern the world and tried to restore the ancient weapon Shushibaruba to achieve this, but was eventually destroyed by it.
Simon’s Devil Fruit, the Paper-Paper Fruit, lets him transform into paper, which he uses for both attacks and defense. He can even heal injuries by turning into paper. What makes this fruit truly special is its ability to create symbols that unleash various elemental attacks. It’s considered one of the most adaptable and powerful Devil Fruits in the world of One Piece, and very few can rival its capabilities.
4) Reverse-Reverse Fruit

The Reverse-Reverse Fruit is a Devil Fruit ability used by Snitcher, the villain in One Piece Premier Show 2025. Snitcher, a former Vice-Admiral, tried to start a fight between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Cross Guild, hoping to eliminate their leaders. However, his plan failed, and he was eventually arrested by Kizaru.
The Reverse-Reverse Fruit does exactly what its name suggests: it can reverse things within a certain range, from simple actions to energy flow. This made Snitcher incredibly difficult to defeat while he was focused, proving just how strong this Devil Fruit is.
3) Copy-Copy Fruit

The Copy-Copy Fruit is a Devil Fruit ability used by Chameleone, the villain in One Piece Premier Show 2012. After causing trouble for the Whitebeard Pirates, Chameleone seized control of Samba Island and ruled harshly. However, Luffy and his Straw Hat crew eventually defeated him and ended his reign.
The Copy-Copy Fruit allows Chameleone to transform into an exact duplicate of anyone he touches, even gaining their powers. However, he needs to stay completely focused to hold the transformation. During the story, Chopper accidentally caused Chameleone to sneeze, breaking his concentration. Without that interruption, it would have been very difficult to beat him.
2) Knead-Knead Fruit

The Knead-Knead Fruit is a Devil Fruit ability used by Bildy, a key villain in One Piece Premier Show 2014. Bildy, along with his uncle Smash, leads a radical group called the DX Marines. Bildy’s role is to recruit new members while Smash focuses on planning the group’s activities.
Bildy’s Knead-Knead Fruit ability lets him turn people into copies of anyone else – perfectly mimicking their personality and even their powers. He can’t use the ability on himself, though. While he’s not officially in charge of the DX Marines, Bildy is arguably the bigger danger when you compare him to Smash.
1) Sing-Sing Fruit

Uta, the central villain in the 2022 film One Piece Film: Red, possesses the Sing-Sing Fruit, a powerful Devil Fruit. After being left by her father, Shanks, she became a popular singer hoping to bring peace to a world filled with pirates. However, her vision of peace comes at a great cost, impacting everyone around her—including Uta herself.
Uta’s Sing-Sing Fruit is incredibly powerful. It allows her to trap people in a dream world with her singing and even summon Tot Musica, a demon so strong it can warp reality. This Devil Fruit is unlike anything seen before in the world of One Piece, and is arguably the strongest one, whether it’s part of the official story or not.
