1,000-lb. Sisters Star Amy Slaton’s Wedding Date Revealed

Amy Slaton is ready to marry her boo.

Just four months after announcing her engagement to Brian Lovvorn, the star of *1000-Lb Sisters* shared that she’s tying the knot next month on October 31st.

When someone commented on a photo from Amy’s vacation with Brian, asking if they were married, Amy responded that they plan to get married during the heart of Halloween season.

Brian and Amy have chosen a wedding date that feels perfect, considering he proposed while they were at a haunted house in Kentucky last year. Amy’s sisters, Tammy, Misty, and Wentworth, were there with them. The couple fully embraced a spooky theme, both wearing skeleton shirts when Brian proposed, and the moment was featured on TLC on May 13th.

He knelt down and offered Amy a ring-a silver band shaped like two skull fingers forming a heart-and said, “I know we promised ourselves we wouldn’t do this again, but I’m completely crazy about you. Will you marry me?”

Amy—who had only been dating Brian for five months at the time—quickly replied, “You know I will.”

Tammy and Misty were surprised, but Amy was delighted. Amy shares 4-year-old Gage and 2-year-old Glenn with her former husband, Michael Halterman, and was happy with the unexpected news.

“I ain’t gonna lie,” she quipped. “This is my best proposal yet.”

Following the airing of their proposal episode in May, Amy shared with *People* magazine that she and Brian had always dreamed of a Halloween wedding, but they were still finalizing the details.

Amy shared, “I can’t wait to officially call him my husband and build a life with him. While our engagement was brief, we’re planning for a marriage that will last forever.”
