As a huge HeroQuest fan, I’m so excited! The game first came out way back in 1989 from Milton Bradley, and then Hasbro/Avalon Hill brought it back in 2021. They’ve been re-releasing the old quest packs, and today they announced the last one – Wizards of Morcar! It’s available for pre-order now and will be out in March 2026. Just like the other recent releases, it’ll have the classic gameplay we all love, but with a few nice improvements.
HeroQuest Wizards of Morcar Quest Pack Pre-Orders
The HeroQuest Wizards of Morcar Quest Pack is coming soon with 10 adventures – five are updated from the classic 1991 game, and five are completely new. The pack includes 27 detailed miniatures (including a different sculpt for the Wizard hero), 64 cards with fresh artwork, a sheet of cardboard tiles, and a guide to help you play. A new way to learn skills is also being added to the game. You can pre-order it now on Amazon for $49.99, and check out more pictures of the game below.
To play this expansion, you’ll need either the original HeroQuest Game System or HeroQuest First Light. You can find the Game System on Amazon, where you’ll also find other expansions. First Light is currently only available at Target.
The HeroQuest Wizards of Morcar Quest Pack challenges players to team up and prevent Zargon from seizing powerful, ancient magic hidden within a sacred altar in the frozen Northern Dread Wastes.
