If no one takes the lead on developing a new Devil May Cry game, it’s likely DMC 6 won’t happen at all. While Hideki Kamiya is back at Capcom with his studio Clovers, he probably won’t start working on a large-scale Devil May Cry project until after Okami 2 is released. Even if Capcom wants to keep Devil May Cry as a major franchise, new leaders need to begin planning before any new game can be made.
