In 2026, Forza Horizon 6 is expected to be the most popular Xbox game. While dedicated, longtime Xbox fans might prefer Halo: Campaign Evolved and Gears of War: E-Day, many are eagerly awaiting the reboot of Fable. Currently, none of these games are expected to come to the Nintendo Switch 2, but there’s recent speculation that Fable might be an exception.
New Nintendo Switch 2 Xbox Report
According to Jez Corden, a new report indicates that a version of Fable for the Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t confirmed yet, but is being considered for the future. While Corden doesn’t rule out a Switch 2 version entirely, he suggests it’s not currently being worked on.
The game Fable is currently planned to come out in late 2026, which gives developers time to potentially create a version for the next Nintendo Switch. It’s also common for games planned for release later in the year to be delayed until the following year, and if that happens with Fable, a Switch 2 version could be available when the new console launches.
