28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, directed by Nia DaCosta, offers a fresh perspective on the universe established by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in 28 Days Later. This film flips the original story on its head. Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) enters into an unexpected relationship with significant repercussions that might alter their known world, while Spike’s (Alfie Williams) meeting with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) transforms into a terrifying ordeal from which he cannot free himself. The bone-chilling world of The Bone Temple presents a new horror: the inhumanity of the survivors can be just as strange and frightening as the infected.
