It seems that Patrick and his future wife, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), are about to experience the happiness of a wedding. However, an unexpected incident could potentially disrupt their festivities.

1. Kat Moon is reunited with daughter Zoe Slater

A frantic Kat is desperate to find son Tommy (Sonny Kendall), unaware that he has found Zoe.

It seems that Kat and Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) are concerned that Tommy might have disappeared permanently. However, things take a turn when Kat receives a message indicating that Tommy is actually close by.

Upon hearing his voice, a wave of relief is swiftly replaced by surprise within Kat. The instant she lays eyes on Zoe, who has returned to Albert Square after an absence of two decades, nothing can ready her for that impactful moment.

Kat really yearns to chat with Zoe, yet their rich history, coupled with Zoe transforming significantly since her departure in 2005, means the conversation may not run as smoothly as desired.

With time, we learn more details about Zoe’s life while she was gone. However, the question remains: What is her major secret, and how will Kat respond when she finds out?

2. Patrick Trueman and Yolande Trueman marry for the second time

As a cinephile, I find myself in a heart-wrenching scene where my wedding day approaches, but alas, my partner Patrick has decided to call off our nuptials following Oscar’s shocking confession.

However, Yolande finds renewed determination due to Jaden Daques’ (Denzel Washington’s son) optimistic outlook, which motivates her to restore the celebrations to their original plan.

Despite Patrick’s steadfastness, Kim (Tameka Empson) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) work tirelessly to set their plans into motion regardless.

As guests assemble, Denise and Kim find themselves bracing for the possibility that the bride and groom might be absent. However, their spirits soar when the happy couple unexpectedly arrive, and the wedding proceeds to take place just as planned!

Despite Best Man Howie’s distinguished status, he carries a burden of guilt for his role in the misfortune regarding Patrick’s missing money. He coerced Oscar into giving him the funds.

Will Howie crumble?

Sadly, another unfortunate event seems imminent as the gathering unfolds at The Queen Vic.

3. A life hangs in the balance after a gunshot rings out in Albert Square

Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is horrified when Oscar shows him the gun he found.

Oscar asks him for assistance in getting rid of a firearm, unbeknownst to them that Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) was listening in on their talk.

Ravi enters house number 27 to retrieve a gun, but as he stealthily leaves, his former partner Denise notices and informs her husband Jack about it.

In a surprising turn of events, Jack encounters Ravi, resulting in an incident where a gun discharges unexpectedly. The wedding attendees, left in shock, find themselves huddled at The Vic while the commotion ensues.

Upon learning which local was shot, the question remains about their fate – who exactly is it, and whether they’ll pull through this ordeal.
