3 Great Classic Flash Games You Probably Forgot About (And How to Play Them in 2026)

Adobe Flash was once the leading program for creating animations and graphics on the web. From the mid-to-late 1990s, Flash games were incredibly popular, providing entertainment for many people directly within their web browsers. When Adobe stopped supporting Flash Player in 2020, a lot of those games disappeared. However, some of the most beloved games have been brought back through programs that mimic the old player or by being released on Steam. Despite this, they haven’t regained the popularity they once had.

Growing up, like a lot of people my age, I wasted hours playing Flash games back in high school and college. And honestly, they’ve been popping into my head a lot recently – maybe it’s just nostalgia, or maybe it’s because I have too much time to think! But it hit me that a lot of people probably haven’t revisited these old favorites, which is a shame. Flash is gone, and finding these games now takes some digging, if you can even find them. So, I wanted to share three awesome Flash games I haven’t thought about in ages, and how to play them again in 2026 if you’re feeling nostalgic too.

3) Lucky Tower

Lucky Tower arrived a bit later than many other popular Flash games. The first game came out in 2010 and introduced players to Von Wanst, a somewhat clumsy hero. A second game quickly followed, and the series gained a loyal fanbase. These games are known for their funny, over-the-top humor and difficult puzzles as you attempt to escape a dangerous tower.

If you’re nostalgic for the classic Flash-based Lucky Tower games, you can still play them online at sites like CrazyGames.com. The series is also now available on Steam, and will soon be released on consoles like the Nintendo Switch. A new version, Lucky Tower Ultimate, has been in development as an Early Access game since 2024 and is scheduled for a full release on April 16th. This updated Lucky Tower will be available on both PC and Nintendo Switch, giving players a chance to relive the challenge and ‘die, die again’ in a modern format.

2) 625 Sandwich Stacker

If you were a frequent visitor to Disney.com in the early 2000s, you probably remember the fun Lilo & Stitch sandwich-stacking game. The goal was to help Experiment 625 create a huge sandwich by catching ingredients, making sure nothing unwanted fell in. It was really satisfying to build a tall, delicious sandwich, but unfortunately, the game isn’t as easy to find online now.

I was so bummed when I found out 625 Sandwich Stacker disappeared from the old Disney.com site – it’s gone for good! Luckily, the Internet Archive saved it, so you can still play it there. But if you’re looking for something new that feels just as fun, I recently discovered Supurr Cat Cafe: Sandwich Rush. It’s basically the same idea – stacking sandwiches as fast as you can – but with adorable cats instead of Lilo & Stitch. It’s a blast and you can get it on Steam for only $5.99 if you want to keep the sandwich-stacking dream alive!

1) Papa’s Pizzeria

It’s probably a good thing I don’t remember exactly how many hours I spent playing the Papa’s games – they completely took over my free time when I was younger! This series of Flash games had so many versions, letting you manage everything from a pizzeria to a cupcake shop and even a wing restaurant. And they were all really well-made, classic examples of the restaurant management genre. You’d take orders, cook the food, and serve customers quickly to keep them satisfied. For me, these games were the defining Flash games of that time, and I know a lot of other people feel the same way.

Luckily, it’s still easy to play the classic Papa’s games today. You can find deluxe versions of Papa’s Pizzeria and Papa’s Freezeria on Steam. Plus, many of the games, including Papa’s Sushiria and Papa’s Burgeria, are available as mobile apps for just a few dollars. These mobile versions are well-made, and the touchscreen controls actually work really well. I may or may not have downloaded a lot of them when I was feeling nostalgic!

Man, Flash games were the best! I’m totally nostalgic for them. What were your favorites? Let’s talk about it over on the ComicBook Forum – come share your picks!
