I’m noticing a lot of new anime dropping this week – the Spring 2026 season is officially here! It follows what was a really strong Winter 2026 season, which had both some highly anticipated continuations and a bunch of interesting new shows. Now that Winter is over, a lot of those series have wrapped up with some pretty satisfying endings.
I’m really excited for the new season of anime that’s about to begin! Starting April 1st, which kicks off the Spring season, we’ll be getting a bunch of fresh shows and some returning favorites. Even though the first week of Spring is a little short – just five days – it’s already bringing back three of the most popular anime with brand new seasons that I know fans will be eager to watch.
3) Classroom of the Elite Season 4

The popular anime series Classroom of the Elite is back for a fourth season on April 1st, after a wait of over two years, and fans are incredibly excited. The premiere date – April Fools’ Day – is a fittingly ironic touch, considering the show features one of anime’s most cunning characters. This new season promises a different feel than previous ones.
As Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and his classmates begin their second year, the story will broaden to include challenges from students in other years. We can also expect to see more characters connected to the White Room – the secret facility where Ayanokoji was originally trained – which will significantly raise the tension. This season promises to truly test the protagonist’s abilities, and fans are eager to see how he handles the increased pressure. The season kicks off with a special premiere featuring the first four episodes, totaling 90 minutes of content.
2) Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3

This week is packed with exciting anime, including the return of popular series and the start of a highly anticipated final season. After nearly seven years and four seasons, Dr. Stone will conclude this Spring with the third part of its fourth season. The story follows Senku and the Kingdom of Science as they begin a journey to the moon, bringing the series to a close.
The first half of the final season set everything up for Senku’s main goal: figuring out why everyone was turned to stone. If you’ve been watching Dr. Stone, you definitely won’t want to miss the rest of the series, as it finally reveals the answers to the questions that have been building since the beginning.
1) One Piece: Elbaph Arc

For over 25 years, fans have been able to watch new episodes of One Piece almost every week, with only rare interruptions. But last year, the anime took a different turn, and we haven’t had new episodes for the last three months. Now, after a long wait, One Piece is scheduled to come back on April 5, 2026, starting a new story arc.
The story is entering its final stretch, and the upcoming Elbaph arc will propel it even closer to its conclusion. With One Piece returning this week, fans will get their first look at a new broadcast schedule that promises higher quality animation. The return of One Piece is a major event for anime fans and a great way to kick off the spring season.
