The sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Modulo, is set 70 years after the original story. Fans were eager to see what the new series would be about, but the return of familiar characters made it even more interesting. So far, the sequel has revealed details about what happened to characters from the original series, beginning with Maki and Yuta, and shown that their grandchildren will be the new main characters.
The story confirmed Nobara is still alive and she reappeared briefly. Now, Yuji, the main character, is driving the current plot. As the series heads towards its ending, with everything set up for a resolution, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is expected to reveal three additional characters.
3) Aoi Todo

It was already confirmed in a bonus section of Chapter 20 that Aoi Todo is still alive. Nobara Kugisaki mentioned he remains close to Yuji and would know where to find him. However, we haven’t seen him appear in the series yet. With the upcoming end of the Jujutsu Kaisen sequel and the removal of Cursed Energy, Yuji will finally be able to rest and enter a hibernation that will last for 300 years.
Considering everything, it feels right that the series ends with Aoi Todo appearing and rekindling his close bond with Yuji. This would offer Yuji, who has been largely on his own, a meaningful connection and help him move closer to achieving his goals.
2) Hakari Kinji

By the series’ conclusion, Kinji Hakari had become a key and incredibly strong character, notably fighting Uraume during the final events. Introduced relatively late as a unique and energetic addition to the cast, many fans are curious about what happened to him after the story ended.
It seems the unofficial fighting group he’d always envisioned, often called Fight Club, has now been officially acknowledged by the Jujutsu world as part of a larger agreement. Hakari was a uniquely powerful and enthusiastic character in the first series, and the continuation of the story should reveal more about him before it concludes.
1) Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi was a central figure in the first series, arguably even more so than Yuji, so it’s understandable that fans are concerned about his absence in the sequel. As a key member of the original trio, the lack of any information about him is noticeable. Given his importance as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, it seems likely he’s still alive, as his death would have definitely been mentioned.
He’s likely still a powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer, and might even lead the Zenin clan. Now that Yuji has decided to eliminate Cursed Energy, he could turn to his friend for guidance. If Megumi isn’t still around, the story should at least mention him, perhaps through Yuji thinking about what Megumi would have thought of his decision. Regardless, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo needs to address Megumi’s fate somehow. He was a key character in the original series, and completely ignoring him in the sequel would be a significant mistake.
