3 Paramount+ Must-Watch Shows This Weekend: October 24–26, 2025

If you haven’t been watching Paramount+, now’s the perfect time to start! This weekend offers three fantastic shows that really highlight what makes the streaming service great, and you can easily finish them all by Sunday night.

You can find all of Taylor Sheridan’s popular TV shows, like Tulsa King, Lioness, and Landman, on Paramount+. Although his shows are often featured in the streaming service’s top 10, Paramount+ also offers many other great shows beyond the world of Taylor Sheridan worth checking out.

Paramount+ has plenty of popular shows like Yellowstone and NCIS, but if you’re looking for something new to watch this weekend, you’ve come to the right place. Our TV expert has chosen three great shows on Paramount+ that are perfect for binge-watching from October 24th to 26th, 2025.

The Woman In The Wall

While Paramount+ doesn’t have a huge selection of horror, The Woman in the Wall stands out as one of its best and most chilling original series. Released in 2023, it’s a gripping psychological drama and mystery thriller, starring Ruth Wilson, who you might recognize from shows like Luther and the film Locke.

Originally shown on BBC One, the series later became available on Showtime in the U.S. and is now a Paramount+ exclusive. The story centers around Lorna Brady (played by Wilson), who wakes up to find a dead woman in her home, with no memory of how she got there. Because Lorna has a history of severe sleepwalking, she begins to question her own sanity.

If you enjoyed the Hulu series Say Nothing, you won’t want to miss The Woman in the Wall. It’s from the same writer, Joe Murtagh, who also created the popular series Gangs of London. Viewers on Rotten Tomatoes have given The Woman in the Wall a solid 80% rating.

The Boston Globe gave a great summary of the 6-part series, saying it powerfully portrays the terrible acts committed by religious figures and the suffering of the women they harmed. Although it’s not a typical horror show, it’s one of the most unsettling series currently available on Paramount+, making it a perfect watch as Halloween nears.

Dexter: Original Sin

Even though Dexter: Original Sin was canceled by Paramount+ after just one season, it’s still a worthwhile watch. It could be a great way for new viewers to get into the Dexter series, offering a fresh starting point for those unfamiliar with the story.

As a long-time Dexter fan, I was honestly pretty worried about Original Sin when it was announced. New Blood didn’t quite land the way we all hoped, and it felt like the story needed a real boost. Thankfully, things turned around with what many consider the best season ever – Dexter: Resurrection – and Original Sin was a huge part of bringing that renewed energy to the whole Dexter universe. It really helped revitalize the classic Showtime series!

The new series, Dexter: Original Sin, introduces a fresh cast of actors taking on familiar roles, including a younger version of Dexter Morgan played by Patrick Gibson. Despite the risks involved in revisiting such a well-known story, the show proved to be a successful venture, earning positive reviews with a 78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.2 rating on IMDb.

Both Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection offer new insights into the story, especially regarding Dexter’s father, Harry Morgan (played by Christian Slater and James Remar). While Dexter: Resurrection is well-received with a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it requires watching all nine seasons of the original series to fully understand. Original Sin, on the other hand, is immediately accessible – just start watching!

MobLand

Starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, MobLand is a standout new crime drama on Paramount+ and one of the best series of 2025. If you’re a fan of Taylor Sheridan’s shows and are looking for something to watch before Landman season 2 (coming in November) and the premiere of Mayor of Kingstown season 4 this Sunday, MobLand is a top pick.

If you enjoy shows like those by Hardy, you absolutely shouldn’t miss MobLand if you haven’t seen it yet. The first season has 10 episodes, each lasting an hour, and was created by Ronan Bennett – the talented writer behind popular series like Top Boy, The Day of the Jackal, and Gunpowder. It’s been well-received, earning a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.4 on IMDb, putting it just outside the top 250 TV shows on that platform.

Don’t expect a typical spooky or cozy vibe from MobLand, but it’s definitely one of Paramount+’s best new shows. A second season is planned for next year, so now’s a great time to start watching! If you’re not in the mood for horror or something comforting, MobLand on Paramount+ is a really enjoyable option.
