With only three episodes left in the My Hero Academia anime, and the manga’s main battle recently concluding, the next episode will likely start wrapping things up. Having aired for almost ten years, the series has created many storylines. Now, with so few episodes remaining, it seems unlikely that all of these plot threads will be fully resolved.
As a huge fan, I think the series has to hit a few key things before it wraps up. It doesn’t need to answer everything, but there are three points that are absolutely essential for giving Deku a really satisfying ending. Seriously, these are make-or-break for me!
3) Explore Romantic Developments

As a typical action-adventure series, My Hero Academia hasn’t focused much on romance. But as the story unfolds, it’s started to suggest potential romantic connections, and fans are eager to see those explored in the anime.
It’s no surprise that everyone is focused on Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka’s relationship. They’ve become close friends and clearly care for each other, with both inspiring significant growth in the other. The series should definitely show a clear conclusion to their connection before it ends, as it’s also important for Deku’s overall development as a character.
2) Hero Ranking of the U.A. Students

With the big battle over and most of the heroes involved being students from U.A.’s Class 1-A, it’s likely their positions in the hero rankings will improve once they become professional heroes. This will give a clearer picture of each student’s true strength and potential.
It’s no surprise that strong heroes like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are predicted to rank highly on the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart. But with Deku having lost his powers, it’s uncertain if he’ll become a professional hero or even receive a ranking. Regardless, My Hero Academia needs to reveal these final rankings to demonstrate how each character’s actions in the recent battle will impact the future of hero society.
1) Deku’s Father’s Status

Many shonen anime feature the main character’s father playing a significant role in their journey, so My Hero Academia initially created a mystery around Deku’s father. Hisashi was only briefly mentioned early in the series, leading fans to speculate he might turn out to be a villain.
Now that the recent arc is over, theories about Deku’s father have been proven wrong – he appears to be a regular man working overseas. It’s odd that he’s never been shown or explained, and with the series nearing its end, My Hero Academia should at least confirm he’s been secretly observing Deku while focused on his job. There’s no longer a good reason to keep his identity a secret.
