With the end of the first part of the Culling Game arc in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, fans are wondering when Season 4 will arrive. While a fourth season is confirmed, there’s currently no news about when new episodes will be released – a letdown after the thrilling Season 3 finale. Many characters’ futures are uncertain, leaving viewers anxious to see what happens next. While they could read the manga to find out, fans are also looking for similar anime to watch in the meantime.
While nothing is quite like Jujutsu Kaisen, several other anime offer similar vibes or explore dark, supernatural themes. Whether it’s a newer show that mixes serious moments with comedy, or a sci-fi horror series about an alien invasion, these options are perfect for a binge-watch – especially while you’re waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4.
5) Chainsaw Man

If you’re following current anime, you’ve probably heard of Chainsaw Man. If not, it’s a fantastic show to check out after Jujutsu Kaisen. Like Jujutsu Kaisen, it’s a mature, action-packed series with a dark story and surprisingly good humor. Both shows feature protagonists who merge with powerful supernatural entities—Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen and the Chainsaw Devil in Chainsaw Man—and take place in worlds constantly threatened by the supernatural. It’s easy to see why fans of one show often enjoy the other.
4) Demon Slayer

If you enjoy anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, you should definitely check out Demon Slayer. It’s incredibly popular, and with the story nearing its end (with two more movies planned), there’s no better time to start watching. While it’s a little more hopeful in tone than Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer still delivers plenty of supernatural action, thrills, and emotional moments. It’s beautifully animated and features a heartfelt story about a brother trying to save his sister. With a break coming between seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen, now is the perfect time to give Demon Slayer a try.
3) Hell’s Paradise

If you enjoyed the dark and action-packed anime Jujutsu Kaisen, you might also like Hell’s Paradise. Both shows are produced by MAPPA and feature intense, violent content and supernatural themes. While the stories are different, both begin with the main character facing a death sentence and being given a chance to earn their freedom through a dangerous quest. In Hell’s Paradise, the hero, Gabimaru, is tasked with finding the Elixir of Life. The competitive aspect of this journey should appeal to fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, particularly after watching the Culling Game arc. With Season 2 of Hell’s Paradise finishing up in March, now is a perfect time to start watching!
2) Mob Psycho 100

If you enjoyed Jujutsu Kaisen, you’ll likely love Mob Psycho 100. While it’s a bit more upbeat, Mob Psycho 100 is a fantastic anime from beginning to end, filled with exciting supernatural action. It focuses on a young boy with psychic powers who just wants to be normal, and his journey of self-discovery adds a surprising emotional depth. Like JJK, it features plenty of battles against spirits and a hilariously quirky mentor character. With three full seasons available, it offers a lot of viewing enjoyment for fans of the genre.
1) Parasyte: The Maxim

Even though Parasyte: The Maxim is an older anime, it’s still worth watching, especially if you enjoy Jujutsu Kaisen. Both shows feature characters dealing with parasitic entities that take control of people – similar to the curses in JJK. Like Yuji Itadori, the main character in Parasyte ends up sharing his body with one of these creatures, but in a surprising way. The series is full of action, suspense, and well-developed characters, and its overall premise has a lot in common with Jujutsu Kaisen, making it a great choice for fans of the show.
