1. All Grown Up – Daisy Buchanan

3. Land – Maggie O’Farrell (BBC Radio 4’s Book at Bedtime)
Tomás and his son, Liam, are undertaking the ambitious project of mapping Ireland as it was in 1865. 4. Villa Coco – Andrew Sean Greer

In this captivating coming-of-age story set amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany, Pulitzer Prize winner Greer introduces a young man who takes a job assisting Lisabetta, a wealthy and independent aristocrat nicknamed Coco. He hopes to organize her stunning villa as an archivist, but quickly discovers Coco has very different plans for him – including helping her reconnect with a past love. “Villa Coco” is a delightful novel exploring the bonds of friendship and the unique magic of a place.

5. A Fortune of Sand – Ruta Sepetys
In 1927 Detroit, Marjorie Lennox, the youngest daughter of a wealthy car manufacturing family, feels overlooked and stifled by her father and siblings. She hopes an exclusive art program, funded by a mysterious donor, will offer her a fresh start. However, the program isn’t the liberating experience she expected – it’s surprisingly controlled, and rumors of missing women are spreading. Sepetys’ novel is a captivating story set against a rich historical backdrop, exploring themes of ambition, deceit, and the search for identity.
