Channel 5 will broadcast two documentaries tonight, February 20th, about Prince Andrew following his arrest.
Tonight, at 8pm, a new one-hour documentary called ‘Andrew Crisis: How Can the Royals Recover?’ will be shown. Immediately after, at 9pm, a re-airing of ‘Andrew: Where Did All the Money Go?’ will follow.
In February, Mountbatten-Windsor, who lost his royal titles in November 2025, was arrested by police on suspicion of abusing his position. He has since been released while the investigation continues.
Thames Valley Police announced today that they’ve arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk as part of an investigation into misconduct while holding public office. Officers are currently searching properties in both Berkshire and Norfolk.
The man is still being held by the police. We are not releasing his name, following standard procedure. As this is an ongoing investigation, please be careful about what you publish to avoid potentially interfering with the legal process.
As a movie buff, I’m hearing that the police are officially looking into claims of wrongdoing by a public official. Apparently, after carefully reviewing everything, they’ve decided to launch a full investigation into whether this person misused their position.
We must ensure our investigation remains fair and unbiased as we work with our partners to look into this reported crime.
We know many people are following this case closely, and we’ll share more information when we can.

Shortly after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested, King Charles III issued a statement expressing his deep concern about the allegations of misconduct in office.
Here’s how this issue will be thoroughly and correctly investigated by the right people.
“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.
To be clear, the legal process needs to run its course. Because of this, I won’t be making any further comments on the situation right now.
“Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all. Charles R.”
The broadcaster quickly announced “Andrew Crisis: How Can the Royals Recover?”, a program focusing on the fallout from Prince Andrew’s recent arrest and the allegations of misconduct in public office.
Andrew: Where Did All the Money Go? premiered in January 2025. According to the broadcaster, the program investigates the former prince’s finances, looking at his expensive lifestyle and significant spending to determine the sources of his income.
