Power Rangers are known for some amazing team-ups, having already crossed paths with major franchises like DC’s Justice League, Godzilla, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Usagi Yojimbo. But there are still plenty of dream crossovers out there, and here are five we’d love to see happen.
5. Sonic the Hedgehog

We never expected a team-up between Sonic the Hedgehog and DC Comics would be so great, but last year’s crossover series proved us wrong! It was fun seeing the Justice League and Team Sonic work together, and even more surprising to see DC’s take on the Sonic Team. Now I’m hoping for a similar series featuring the Power Rangers!
One of the best parts of a Power Rangers team-up is imagining the combined characters and seeing another hero team gain the ability to morph into Rangers. It would be awesome to see the Sonic the Hedgehog characters as Rangers, perhaps with Sonic in blue, Knuckles in red, Amy in pink, Shadow in black, and Tails in yellow. Rouge or Vector could be the green Ranger, but it would be hilarious and amazing to have Big the Cat as a purple Ranger—he’s just that great. To top it off, giving the Sonic team their own unique Zords would be incredibly cool.
4. K-Pop Demon Hunters

The KPop Demon Hunters franchise has become incredibly popular very quickly, and its characters and setting would work really well in a crossover with the Power Rangers. This team-up could be fantastic as an animated series, a short animated film, or even a comic book.
Imagine the Power Rangers being sent to Seoul, Korea, for a mission where they team up with HUNTR/X. It would be amazing if their suits and weapons gained a KPop-inspired style, and HUNTR/X received their own Ranger suits with cool, modern Zords. Picture them battling it all out to a fantastic soundtrack – it’s a truly exciting idea, and I’d love to see it happen!
3. Massive-Verse

Some of the most exciting Power Rangers stories have actually been told in comic books, created by a team who then built their own shared universe called the Massive-Verse – and it’s fantastic! This universe includes series like Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, Radiant Red, The Dead Lucky, Radiant Pink, Inferno Girl Red, No/One, and C.O.W.L., and it would be amazing to see these worlds collide with the Power Rangers universe.
This could also allow for a team-up beyond just the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, bringing together Rangers from throughout the entire franchise. The creative team, including writers like Kyle Higgins, Ryan Parrott, Melissa Flores, Mat Groom, and Meghan Camarena, are all experienced Power Rangers storytellers and know how to deliver exciting events. Imagine a huge adventure featuring characters like Nathan and Marshall (both Radiant Black, it’s complicated!), Dylan, Cassia, Satomi, Wendell, Eva, Bibi, and many others alongside an all-star team of Power Rangers – hopefully, we’ll see that world become a reality someday.
2. Marvel’s Avengers

Given the success of the Power Rangers and DC Comics team-up, a collaboration with Marvel seems like a natural next step. I originally considered a crossover with the Spider-Verse, but ultimately decided an Avengers team-up would be more effective.
Marvel just announced its new Avengers team – Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Invisible Woman, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and Vision – and fans are already imagining how awesome they’d be in a Power Rangers crossover. The appeal of these kinds of team-ups is seeing different powers and iconic elements combined, and the possibilities with this group are huge. Imagine Billy and Tony Stark building an incredible new Zord, or Wolverine being launched like a Dinozord Fastball Special! It would be a blast to see, and hopefully, it happens someday.
1. Masters of the Universe

The Masters of the Universe franchise is known for its team-ups with other popular series, making a crossover with Power Rangers a natural fit. Masters of the Universe has already partnered with franchises like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, DC, ThunderCats, and even Stranger Things, but a collaboration with the Power Rangers had never happened—until now.
What if the Power Rangers suddenly found themselves in the magical world of Eternia, home to He-Man? A crossover like that would be amazing! It’d be fun to see the Rangers give He-Man and his allies powerful Zords to help them fight Skeletor. Picture Ram Man being launched through a castle wall by a Zord, or Jason riding Battlecat while He-Man pilots the Tyrannasaurs Dinozord! It’s a wild idea, but it would be incredible to see.
