5 EastEnders spoilers next week
1. Jack Branning double-crosses Ravi Gulati in shooting aftermath

Jack considers his next move after recent events, but Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is suspicious.
As a devoted cinephile, I’d put it this way: Upon DS Spencer’s arrival to shed light on the shooting incident, I found myself in a tricky spot. Rather than confessing my true whereabouts that fateful night, I chose to spin a yarn, much to Denise’s curiosity, who couldn’t help but question the tale I spun.
During the police investigation, Ravi finds himself called in for questioning. However, instead of cooperating, he takes a risky approach by claiming that Jack was with him at the time, using Jack as an alibi.

Jack asserted that he intended to enlist Ravi as a confidential informant prior to their agreement about disposing of the firearm together.
However, upon DS Spencer’s arrival, Jack experiences a shift in sentiment. Later, Ravi confronts Jack due to his absence, but Jack assures him that he will dispose of the gun on that very day.

Jack arranges for Ravi to leave Walford, acting as a distraction for the police, while he secretly goes to Ravi’s apartment to hide a gun instead!
Upon Priya Nandra-Hart’s (Sophie Khan Levy) arrival home, Jack finds himself in a position to conceal himself. The question remains: will his disguise hold, or will he ultimately be exposed?
And will Jack regret double-crossing dangerous Ravi?
2. Suki Panesar-Unwin supports Eve Panesar-Unwin after attack from Jonno Highway

In a surprising turn of events, Callum steps in to prevent both verbal and physical abuse directed towards Eve, which unfortunately originated from none other than her own father, Jonno.
Callum arrests Jonno, who protests his innocence and blames his friend.
In response to Callum’s doubt about Jonno’s honesty, Eve asserts that Jonno shares the responsibility for the situation.
Later on, Eve is joined by Suki for support. After spending several weeks apart, the two women slowly warm up towards each other.
The disagreement between Eve and Suki originated due to Suki’s deceitful tactics, which she directed not only at Eve but also at Avani Nandra-Hart, who is known as Aaliyah James.
But can Suki make amends and get the couple back on track?
3. Callum Highway is shocked as his homophobic dad Jonno suffers a heart attack

Upon Jonno’s return to his life, Callum found himself encountering Johnny Carter, his fluctuating partner, despite the counsel from Elaine Knight that he should not. (Charlie Suff portrays Johnny Carter.)
Johnny provides Jonno with some legal advice, hoping to find out if Jonno is interested in pursuing a relationship with Callum.

Despite Jonny initially being hesitant to speak, once he discloses that he’s a Carter, the two of them head over for a drink at The Queen Victoria pub.
Soon, Callum is touched when Johnny reveals that Jonno wants to meet with him.
At the shared flat, Callum encounters Jonno along with Johnny. The initial interaction appears hopeful, but soon, Callum discerns that Jonno is seeking financial aid.

In this scenario, when Callum declines to assist, Jonno reveals his authentic nature. Subsequently, Callum instructs his dad to depart, but Jonno unexpectedly faints and experiences a heart attack instead.
Regardless of the outcome, it is clear that Jonno will unfortunately die. This tragedy may lead to Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), Callum’s husband, attending the funeral to offer his condolences and support.

To date, Ben remains oblivious to the fact that Callum and Johnny have been involved romantically, as their feelings for each other have reportedly grown stronger.
Meanwhile, we’re on tenterhooks to see if Ben exposes the treachery, it’s worth mentioning that although John, with good intentions, attempted to mend the rift between Callum and his father, Ben would have quickly recognized Jonno’s manipulations.
4. Nigel Bates is floored by a revelation from Julie Bates

Nigel and Julie find themselves disheartened upon learning that their beloved chickens were attacked and killed by foxes. However, they soon come to the realization that unfortunately, it was Nigel who inadvertently caused the tragedy.
Nigel and Julie often have disagreements, as Nigel gets agitated due to his memory loss, and this triggers his suspicion towards Julie’s private phone conversations.
Julie asserts that the call pertains to a potential employment opportunity, but during the discussion, it revives old emotions, leaving Nigel taken aback by what transpires subsequently.

He asks Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to take him away for the day.
Nigel guides Phil to the rural area, reminding him of their past when they buried a time capsule alongside Grant Mitchell (played by Ross Kemp), back in their childhood days.
In my humble opinion, as a cinephile who’s just seen the movie, I must say that the suspense was palpable when it seemed like Phil and Nigel were about to give up their search. But then, something fascinating happened – Phil tried his best to discourage Nigel from continuing, but lo and behold! Against all odds, Nigel not only persisted but miraculously led them straight to the treasure they’d been seeking all along. A truly unforgettable moment that had me on the edge of my seat!

They are shocked to discover the contents of the time capsule, and a heart-to-heart ensues.
Upon Nigel and Phil’s return from their trip, Julie finds herself feeling somewhat overlooked. However, later on, they jokingly assist her in preparing for a job interview at the school.
However, when Nigel wrongly identifies George Knight (Colin Salmon) as Julie’s ex-lover, this misunderstanding causes Julie to skip her scheduled interview and instead stay at home to tend to him.
Will Julie get another chance?
