5 EastEnders spoilers next week

1. Nicola Mitchell pushes George Knight away after baby Ivy’s birth

Nicola is recovering from childbirth at home with her new baby, Ivy, but she’s feeling increasingly upset about not being able to spend time with her.

When George visited the NICU, he had the opportunity to hold his daughter skin-to-skin, but he politely waited his turn, wanting Nicola to have the first opportunity.

Nicola believes George is responsible for everything, feeling he’s been too focused on Knight Fusion. She’s set on seeing her daughter, and eventually gets to hold baby Ivy for the very first time.

George shared his love for Nicola in a sweet moment, but she didn’t reciprocate. Hearing this, Harry Mitchell encouraged Nicola not to let previous experiences prevent her from embracing a happy future.

After a long and exhausting week, Nicola, now free from the hospital, visits Ivy with George, but they find it difficult to say goodbye.

Over time, Nicola starts to warm up to George. The question is, will their relationship work, and will Nicola be able to overcome her past struggles?

2. Penny Branning makes a huge decision to cover her pregnancy secret

Lauren Beale offers Penny some advice as she struggles with the complicated situation involving Harry and Vinny Panesar.

After noticing a more sensitive side of Harry, Penny reaches out to her cousin Oscar Branning (played by Pierre Counihan-Moullier) for assistance.

Later in the week, Penny visits Nicola and shares the fake DNA results with her.

Penny is worried Nicola will discover she’s lying. Will Nicola believe the story? And what does the fabricated result reveal?

3. Will Jasmine Fisher be found guilty of Anthony Trueman’s murder?

Worried that information from Patrick Trueman might cause problems for her, Richie Scott asks Kat Moon to write a letter of support for Jasmine to present in court.

Kat initially says no, but then she thinks again. Zoe Slater worries that Josh Goodwin will break up with her if Jasmine is found guilty, and Kat realizes she might need to help.

Josh is unsure whether he should be with Patrick or Jasmine, and hopes his sister can help him decide. Meanwhile, Kat is stressed because defending Jasmine is causing problems in her relationship with Zoe. As the trial starts, the Slater and Trueman families find themselves increasingly opposed to each other.

Sandra Goodwin shares with Denise, Kim, Yolande, and Chelsea that she and Josh have been offered a new home in Southend and are planning to move there.

Jasmine and Zoe haven’t heard the news yet. Meanwhile, Kat questions Sandra about Jasmine’s past, and then Kat begins her testimony in court.

Jasmine is facing a difficult choice: she can either go to trial and testify, or accept a plea bargain for a lighter sentence. The question is, what will she choose?

The verdict is in by the end of the week, but will Jasmine be found guilty?

Kat shares some important news at The Queen Vic, hoping it will help things improve. It’s been a tough week for the family, and we’ll have to see what happens next.

4. Ross Marshall and Vicki Fowler face a rocky future amid Zack Hudson spark as Joel is sentenced

This week on the show, Ross and Harvey Monroe are teaming up to turn the late Martin Fowler’s shed into a comfortable hangout space. Their first challenge? Getting the keys from Jean Slater, who currently has them.

At first, I thought what the guys were planning wasn’t right, and honestly, it felt a bit disrespectful. But after talking to Barney, it hit me – Martin would have actually been okay with it. It made me see things differently, knowing he’d probably approve.

Zack helps persuade Jean, but then she discovers Ross and Harvey trying to steal the keys!

Despite everything, Ross starts cleaning the shed, and while doing so, he tells his friends he’s been feeling anxious and distrustful of Vicki ever since she admitted to sleeping with someone else.

Zack attempts to conceal his feelings of guilt and alert Vicki, but Ross unexpectedly shows up with an update on Joel’s sentencing.

I was listening to Ross and Vicki talk about what’s going to happen with Joel, and even though Vicki seems a little unsure about things, she’s really committed to working through it all with Ross. They’re determined to face this together, which is great to hear.

But when Joel’s sentencing is confirmed, the reality of the situation hits home.

Zack encourages Vicki to open up about how she’s feeling, and she confesses she’s a little unsure. This leads Ross to say something insensitive.

Vicki angrily leaves, but will she and Ross be able to work through this and stay together?

And with unresolved feelings lingering between Vicki and Zack, is it really all over between them?
